Poulette - Menu

Arrived in Paris and came straight here off the Eurostar. Beautiful setting, typical delicious French food and very attentive and friendly waiters. Lovely evening

What a gem…super! The enjoyed the food and ambiance so much that we returned the next day to try more dishes. The chef is very talented. The historic wall tiles are stunning.

We had a great dinner. The octopus dish is one of the best I’ve head in Paris. Very soft, fresh, with a Mediterranean touch. Very pleasant. The steak is great too, served sliced.

We were looking for a Steak Frites meal in Paris and this was a great one. The service was excellent as they help us with our picky eater while the rest of us ate delicious steak. A beautiful restaurant, excellent food, terrific service; what more can I say?

Thoroughly enjoyed Poulette.....very charming atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff and amazing food. Started with a starter of greens w/veggies and chèvre with a mint pesto....simple but amazing flavor. Had heard about their Steak Frites so had to give it a try. As good if not better than expected!! Would definitely go back!

The first thing you notice at Poulette are the mosaics and tiled walls, which give it a classic charm but also a modern, hip feel. The restaurants was a short taxi ride from our hotel in Le Marais. The service was friendly, and our server was very helpful with the menu selections. The gillette de canard was excellent, and I really enjoyed the roasted chicken and carrots.

This is a charming place with kind, attentive waitstaff and good food. My husband and I shared an asparagus appetizer, which was quite nice. He then had the steak frites, and I had fish. Both were excellent. (We traded bites.)We finished with a wonderful rhubarb tart and pane cotta with fresh berries. Yum. This was quite an enjoyable experience in pleasant surroundings. We will go to Paulette again when we are back in Paris.

We were walking back to our hotel when we spied Poulette. A quick check of online reviews and we were asking for a table. The other customers looked local. The waitress was most helpful in interpreting the menu for us. My husband's steak frites and my vegetarian dish were delicious as were our salads and the rhubarb tart. The wine we ordered by the glass was light and refreshing and just perfect for the 90 degree temperatures in Paris. The tiles and mosaics create a nice ambience. Highly recommend this restaurant and so happy we found it.

I had this restaurant on my list of possible lunch places in the Marais on our visit in January, based on previous reviews from various websites. It lived up to the hype! First of all, the hand painted tile murals on the walls were gorgeous and gave this tiny bistro a lovely ambience. It looked to be mostly locals when we were there on a Saturday. The menu is small and limited, but they are known for their Steak Frites, which was very memorable. The wines by the glass were very good and this was a very reasonably priced find. Would love to visit again and highly recommend La Poulette!!
