"After trekking a couple of miles to find a fish and chip shop which didn't meet our requirements, my best buddy Tom and I decided to settle with coming here instead for a quick bite to eat before hitting the road. The meal wasn't groundbreaking, hence the 3 stars. The service was very good and waiters really friendly charming, in fact. The food of course is typical of an Italian chain I have travelled Italy extensively so I'm somewhat of a critic when it comes to authentic Italian food. So I was shocked to see they were selling inauthentic pizzas and pasta dishes for over £15. In Italia, you can get a delicious margherita for 6 euro. Anyway, I digress. Despite being slightly overpriced, the pasta I chose was nice, if a little forgettable. Tom enjoyed his calzone and salad, which included green tomatoes."

Simply awful. Pasta was raw, food was cold and I have no idea what had happened to the aubergine on my pizza, but it certainly was not fresh. Service was shoddy, the meal grossly overpriced and we left hungry and disappointed.

This was the best experience I had in Hull so far, amazing food, brilliant vibe in the restaurant, very friendly and professional service from Sabi and Dani : Will definitely come back for another amazing experience and meal : D

My daughter and her boyfriend, both 15 ate here lunchtime on 28th December as Nando’s was full. Took 20 mins for their order to be taken although food did arrive quickly and they said it was nice, but they paid by card and felt pressurised by the waitress in to leaving a tip as there were options on the card machine and the waitress clearly thought by staring at what they were doing whilst paying at the table she could intimidate a young couple in to leaving a tip. Shame on you they are 15 !

Stopped here en route to Hull New Theatre on exceptionally wet and windy evening. Attracted by the set menu just the one course as time limited. Nice and busy only a couple of free tables but friendly staff welcomed us and ensured we were away from the draughty doors, thank you! Ordered a couple of pepperoni pizzas with white wine and soft drink. Service was fast both drinks and pizzas. Tasty pizza well worth the stop and would return next visit to Theatre even offset the car park fee in St Stephens, bonus!

Wow this is Italian food at it’s very worst, they don’t even know what bruschetta is, ordered it as a starter and got a flat garlic pizza bread with very few mushrooms on and barely warm, continued to go down hill, kids meals were dreadful, while main of lasagne was Ok no Parmesan offered and had to chase staff around to get more drinks that we’d already ordered and it was vastly overpriced £9 for the same flat garlic bread to go with main is ridiculous, final bill of over £60 was an insult! will not be frequenting again for sure

Popped into Prezzo as I was in town for business. Really disappointed with the customer service it was a quiet night but the staff weren't at all attentive predominantly talking amongst themselves. I ordered my meal but nobody checked in. I went for the Cesar salad with garlic bread the garlic bread arrived as cold bread, no garlic whatsoever. I managed to grab the attention of a member of staff who spoke to the chef and came back with a pot of garlic butter. It therefore became DIY cold garlic bread. When I flagged this to the manager she kindly gave me the olives I had ordered as complimentary, however I wouldn't rush back here anytime soon.

I've always liked Prezzo but have to say I was a little disappointed after my recent visit. My friend and I shared a starter of Aubergine and Goats Cheese Bruschetta which was very nice. However we both ordered the same main dish of Crab and Lobster Ravioli. The actual taste of the ravioli was quite nice but it was swimming in what I could only describe as a very tasteless, watery liquid which I think was supposed to be some sort of sauce which totally ruined it for me. At £17.95 for this main dish I thought it was totally overpriced plus £10 for a glass of wine. I have to say the service was very good (and friendly) despite it being busy. I think I'll leave it a while before I return.

Prezzo is by far been one of the worst restaurants i’ve been to this year. First of they give me a DIRTY cup which quite obviously has bits of leftover food that hasn’t even been washed off properly?? and then as i refuse to use the cup because it’s that dirty, i drink from the actual bottle of pepsi. Then later on the waiter takes away my drink that i’m not even finished with?! I am fuming because they also took away my dessert that i’m not even done with i stopped to check my phone and he already takes away my dessert. One last thing is the wait for food was terrible it’s not even busy but it took nearly an hour for my food to arrive, and when it did arrive my lasagne was so oily and greas...
