"We are two American girls who love authentic mexican food so we figured we would give this place a try. We went for the buffet which was our first mistake, but gave us lots of laughs. The buffet was confused. Corn soup next to muesli next to cardboard that resembled beef ribs next to macaroni and cheese next to mini pancakes next to maybe arroz con leche? Continental european breakfast meets rural truck stop grab and go. The buffet lights were impressive at making the food either desert dry or slurpy soggy. The mexican dishes were crafted as if the recipes were passed through 20 kids playing telephone. A very light resemblance, or rather dreams of authentic mexican flavors, but no refried beans, and no cheese in sight. The sour cream, raspberry juice, and coffee were actually phenomenal however. Big drink energy here. I thought I love all churros like my first born child but the churros that we presented were more like my second child. Cold, bland, soft. And Paired with “hibiscus milk” which was an interesting pink yogurt. I had some of that for dessert but also got a bowl of fruit ring cereal and put some alcohol-tasting chocolate sauce on top. Finished it off with some packaged chocolate mini muffins. The chocolate chips in the palm oil muffins had a very light chocolate flavor like I was drinking a chocolate La Croix. I suggest ordering something off the menu next time, so you can be sure the food is freshly prepared with the ingredients you are looking for, because the buffet will just tease ya. Leave your Spanish at home. The decor is indeed pleasant."
