"We were informed that our food would take about 35 minutes to arrive, as a couple of orders had been placed just before ours. At that moment, there were seven people in the pub who were not dining. True to their word, our meals arrived almost exactly 35 minutes later. I ordered BBQ chicken, which was topped with bacon and cheese and was clearly heated in a microwave. It was served on an enamel tray, accompanied by onion chutney and placed alongside chips and onion rings. While the chicken was tender, the sauce was more tangy than BBQ, making it decent but rather dull. My friend's scampi and chips looked much fresher and more appealing, also served in an enamel tray—perhaps a signature presentation style. The woman at the bar was pleasantly cheerful when we arrived, but she disappeared after taking our order. Her colleague wasn't quite as lively. Overall, the pub met our needs and proved to be quite convenient in that regard."

Popped in for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed. We were made to feel welcomed and looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were friendly and attentive, food was perfect and the drinks we chose were on point! We’ll be back

The restaurant boasts an excellent location right across from the entrance to Didcot Parkway station. We chose it as a central spot among three different options, and it turned out to be a great choice. The staff greeted us warmly, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch with generous portions. The atmosphere was inviting and friendly.

This restaurant boasts a very convenient location, directly across from the train station. They offer a good selection of beers and the food is reasonably priced. I visited during lunchtime, which made for a quieter atmosphere, however, the service was prompt and friendly. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 and the service a 5, with a price range of £10–20 per person.
