"my man and my elders have traveled from the coast of englands for years to stay in wemyss bay and always visit a point largs a few times during our stay and treat us to the breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake in the bagel. the last time we visited, was with our week old daughter and the staff made me feel very easy to quiet her there over the breakfast. when we left, we said we would see them again next year, but unfortunately this was not too guilt after a difficult months/years for all we managed to come back for some days and were thrilled to see that the bagel basket was still in business with some familiar faces behind the counter. as soon as we have entered tabs, the five of us plus our month old in their stroller. Although we haven't been there for two years and had to wear face masks, the owners recognized us and coworkers and it was as if we had never been away. again I was made to feel very comfortable while quiet there and even offered to put my hot lunch to keep warm so that I could do that. definitiw recommend the bagel basket to any especially families and those who can warn themselves about quiet in public"

"We love this place. We think it serves the best coffee in Largs. When we discovered that they were branching out at doing evening meals, we had no hesitation in booking a slot. Only Fridays at the moment. We were not disappointed. We had the shared platter of cheese and meat £13 per person . Goodness, what a feast! The platter was overflowing. We ate far too much well, we 'd paid for it! and asked for a doggy bag to take the rest home. Well worth the money. I had a glass of red wine to accompany the feast, my husband has the rose, Both were excellent choices. Italian music playing softly in the background, candles, superb food. I recommend this to all of you out there. Leaving Largs, we looked at people eating at the 'chippys ', the Wetherspoons and the Indian restaurant. I bet they all paid far more than we did, and for less food. Where 's the sense in that? Get yourselves booked in for next Friday, and enjoy!"

"What an amazing find! I find it hard to find a decent fish restaurant these days so I was made up to find this little place. When you arrive you go through a little courtyard with a shop selling craft foods and beverages and fresh fish. We had booked online for the restaurant but we were the one ones in there due to the time of our booking. The menu wasn’t extensive but it was sufficient. There were 5 in our party including our 8 year old fussy eater . We had fresh Scallops, fresh mussels, tempura langoustines, tempura chicken and salmon pate for starters. Kids gosh and chips, fish and chips, halibut and bacon with poached egg and 2 fish mixed grill. The mixed grill had ‘whatever fish the chef decided to grab’ on it (servers words , turned out to be halibut, salmon, sea bream, langoustine and clams. It was all very fresh and best we’ve had. The chips were absolutely gorgeous too. They don’t serve alcohol though and so you have to buy it from the shop and take it in with you which is no problem Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Seafood Platter, Trio of Fish"

"Bit quieter than usual but good attention from staff as always. Unfortunately my husband ordered arancini which managed to be both lookwarm and overcooked at the same time. He mentioned this to staff as he ate very little but it still appeared on our bill which was disappointing. The waitress said she was not authorised to make deductions from the bill but surely if she was the only front of hose staff member present she should have that authority"

"Family lunch with the doggo! 3 adults and 2 teens, everyone was fed and happy. We got Burgers, Chicken Pizza, Haddock and Chicken goujons all served with chips and side salad (except pizza). It was quiet when we went in, got seated and served immediately. Menu had a good selection including vegetarian options and a kids menu. Large portions, i'm truly stuffed, good value for money, each adult meal about £10 kids meal £6-ish. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend anyone looking for a lunch in Millport to pop in there. It's dog friendly and our bassett hound Lola got a wee nap in while we were all stuffing our faces."
