This café/bistro located in the town center is fantastic. We received a warm and friendly welcome on a cold and rainy day. On December 30th, 2022, my partner and I had lunch at this cafe. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making us and our dog feel very welcome. I ordered the locally sourced battered haddock, while my partner had the macaroni cheese. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The meal, staff, and atmosphere were all fantastic.

I am a proud owner of a new puppy so I decided to introduce her to one of my best friends with a walk on the seafront followed by coffee and scones in the Bagel Basket. I’ve been here before and have reviewed positively on how good it was but, coming along with my wee 17 week old pooch, we couldn’t have been more welcome. Lovely touches such as staff asking me if it was ok for them to give her biscuits she was made a fuss of. Not to mention the manager advising us of the winter scone offer and the scones we had being fresh and tasty and the coffee great. Thanks Bagel Basket. You’re great!

My husband and I, Grandson and partner and great Grandchild turned up at this venue today and it was full. Owner asked if we wanted to wait 15 minutes he would reserve a table for us. It was freezing cold and we said thanks but we would find somewhere else just at that about 6 folk were leaving and the owner asked if we wanted to come in out the cold he would arrange a table for us. He provided a high chair for the baby. We were very impressed by the menu and prices. My hubby and I had the angel cut haddock which was beautiful. Locally sourced too which impressed us. Good service , reasonably priced and very welcoming. We'll be back. View menu
