"My wife and I had our evening meal at Quayle 26th November, the food was outstanding, highly recommend the crab starter, my wife had beef borguignon absolutely delicious. I had the steak cooked to perfection. Not only was the food incredible but the hospitality of the owner/family was most attentive and made it a very special experience. We will return and highly recommend a visit."

Amazing staff, service and food. I could not recommend this place more highly. I had the chorizo and clam cassoulet and it was incredible.

I had the signature dish chicken Milanese which was utterly delicious. My husband had the steak which he said was amazing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We will certainly be returning!

Marvellous butternut squash pasta for me and my wife had the spiced fresh crab. Washed down with a carafe of the house chardonnay. Such high quality cuisine everytime. Perfect portion size for lunch.

We stumbled upon Quales without reading any reviews and considered ourselves fortunate that they could fit us in at such short notice. It looked very pretty and the menu was enticing. Having reflected on our evening, I feel ultimately it’s the attitude of the owner...

Excellent welcome and hospitality. The food we had was also very nice. My only gripe was my beef bourguignon was so salty! It was tasty but I could not finish it due to the salt. We rarely add salt to our food so my advice to the chef……Let your guests add more salt if they need it.

Came here for lunch when visiting the area, we had the vegetarian pea and shallot ravioli and the chicken Milanese with sides of fries and a salad. All felt like it was cooked with care, and it might sound silly but the nicest side salad I've had for a very long time. Would recommend and would definitely come back

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
