"As family we've had the pleasure of knowing Bill Jenny for many years and I've been coming here for as long as I've known my Wife who has family connections in the area. One wouldn't expect such niceties in the rural Highlands but they serve the finest of fare for a well earned treat built up exploring this beautiful area. Thank you for your service to the area over so many years, and for your kindness and hospitality."

Lovely views and good food however extremely slow service. If you are to visit make sure you have a good couple of hours for your toastie. View menu

So pleased we found this gem of a cafe! Delicious soup, the best chocolate cake I've ever had and the scone I took back to our holiday cottage was beautiful. Staff were all lovely. Worth the 84 mile round trip!

Lovely surprise, a gem of a tea room, yes its small and limited by the small station and surroundings but kind helpful staff. Great cakes and scone was so nice and fresh. Home baking at it’s very finest. Was worth the short wait and understandable with its tiny size.

"We stumbled across this place on the last night of a fortnight in Scotland and couldn 't be more glad that we did and that they had space. We were seated promptly (underneath the fan thankfully considering the heatwave), asked whether we 'd eaten there before (we hadn 't), had the menu explained to us (suggested 3 tapas per person) and then left alone briefly to consider the menu. Once ordered, drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, followed by breads dips to tempt tide us over until our tapas arrived. It wasn 't very quick, but I didn 't think it was unduly long either just the right length of time for non fast food that is being prepared freshly. And when it arrived, we were delighted as it was delicious! The only slight disappointment was that salted cod wasn 't available, but that was soon forgotten. My personal favourite was the poached chorizo in red wine with honey glaze, but we were happy with all of our options (patatas bravas, haggis balls, pinchas de pollo, spinach chickpea stew, haddock in red pepper sauce and Spanish tortilla the latter really made by the spicy tomato salsa on the side). 5 between the two of us would probably have sufficed, which would have meant I had space for one of the ice creams, but in hindsight, I 'm glad I didn 't. Excellent service, delicious food, our best meal of our holiday. We probably won 't be back (living in Birmingham and all) but definitely would if we were local."
