"Really lovely food here, The restaurant was busy on a Thursday evening, with mostly locals i think (german speakers). Waiter was kind and attentive, the menu was in German and English which helped. We shared a plate of sausage for starter. For main, I had...schnitzel, my bf had goulash, washed down with a nice beer. You order with the waiter at the table, but you get an electronic buzzer, and when it goes off you collect your food at a serving hatch unusual but fun. The restaurant is located close to the gay bars so is convenient for food before a night out. Enjoyed our night here."

Staff are nice but sadly the food really sucks. Cakes and drinks are good. It needs some TLC, and a new menu.

Wondered on the street and very welcome. Great German food. Trying like homemade. We had the Goulash and the Wienerschnitzel. Both excellent. Great value too.

Even though on the corner of a busy street, there's a nice outdoor area. The German food was good, prices reasonable, and staff spoke English. We ate here twice.

A very nice place, very neighbourhood like, feels so comfortable and inviting. Nice location for some people watching. The waiter is nice and efficient and the comfort food that they serve was excellent. View menu

We came to Berlin for almost a week and we run across this place because it was close to our hotel. Everything was more than we expected. They treated us wonderfully. Very good and friendly service. We went twice! The food is really tasty and...they have really nice traditional German beers and food.

If you want to enjoy good food, well prepaired and arranged on your plate bud also want to feel as a guest in a very frendly and easygoing atmosphere, than the Restaurant Raststätte Gnadenbrot is the place to go and to rest. I truly felt...a kind of home, far from home. Thanks to the Team of Raststätte and his Owner

This nice German restaurant Raststaette Gnadenbrot' has very nice breakfast. Friendly staff catered to my request for a specialised breakfast. The hot chocolate was really good. The only drawback was that it had lots of bees hovering over you and you had to shoo...them away constantly! It's bee trap wasn't effective I suppose... View menu

This place was opened when most restaurants around where we were staying had already closed. Service was fine. They take your order and give you a buzzer. When it goes off, you have to go to pick up your dishes and bring them to the...table. It was our first time so I don’t know if it is always like that, but it took a long time for the kitchen to release our food. We then ordered a wurst and it took forever to the point we thought they had forgot about the order. The environment is cozy.

Being prominently located on a corner with lots of outdoor seating, this is very much a place for gay men to meet, see and be seen. Straights just need to accept that in this part of Schöneberg they are the minority. Food is OK and...decent value, but given the wide menu, few of the dishes are likley to very special. In addition to the usual German cooking, they offer a selection of Eastern European dishes to be washed down with Polish or Czech beer. Service is efficient, if not particularly warm.
