"Lunch at the Rosengarten with that AMAZING view of the old town, very nice food and super friendly and efficient service, was one of the highlights of our European holiday. Reflecting on all the other reviewers' comments about the restaurant's popularity, we only heard about it on our arrival in Bern and went there without a reservation to find it packed. To our amazement our party of five was not only accepted but shown to the best table in the corner by the window with an unimpeded view of Bern. We still can't believe our luck and the Rosengarten will forever be the site of one of our most memorable meals."

In an informal, warm, romantic environment with a suggestive view, good food that is not exactly cheap (for Italian standards). I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful restaurant with the best view of Bern. Pleasant atmosphere candles, open fireplace in the hall. Excellent service and maintenance. This is definitely a good place to enjoy some real fondue.

Beautiful place for a delicious cheese fondue, on request you get it gluten-free with an excellent gluten-free bread. You get a separate fondue rechaud and cheesepot. The best, with a fantastic view over Bern City!

A beautiful restaurant and location! I came for the aforementioned fondue, but it turns out to be seasonal, they could tell me which dishes can be made gluten-free and I had a very tasty steak! You also had delicous Gf bread and a series of sundae lingers, but be sure to ask your Sundae without the biscuit above!

Das Brunchangebot ist hier echt super und vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis kaum zu übertreffen v.a. bei dieser Aussicht. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und von guter Qualität. Es gibt ausreichende Mengen - ich empfehle das grosse Frühstück (ca. 25CHF inkl. 2 warmer Getränke und Saft). Wenn man einen guten Platz mit Aussicht will, sollte man vorher reservieren! Das Personal könnte etwas herzlicher sein - war mir zu distanziert!

Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich; Perfekte Aussicht über ganz Bern. Die Karte ist ansprechend und bietet eine schöne Auswahl unterschiedlicher, auch internationaler Gerichte. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend, fast schon familiär. Speziell erwähnen möchten wir - nebst der Qualität - das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Andere Wirte würden für so eine Aussicht und so eine Location deutlich teurere Preise verlangen. Die Preise liegen aber absolut im unteren Mittelmass, was uns sehr gefreut hat.
