"Today my third visit this year was to SIDE, the best restaurant for oriental cuisine in Friesland. This time I ordered the classic Adana Kebab, a beef chopper, which was well grilled with pleasant sprouts and hot served. There was rice, cacik and a grilled tomato. The whole thing is perfectly matched, as I have rarely experienced. And I like to go and often eat oriental. A well maintained Pils, Jever or Köpi, rounded off the enjoyment as well as the two ice-cold served Ouzo. Yeah, I know they're Greek. But the host serves (on request) also a Raki, the Turkish version of the Anisschnapses. The price-performance ratio is unsurpassed for excellent quality with very good and very friendly service. An Adana-Kebap in this very good quality for 13.90 Euro has not met before. While in February I was only able to get through very well because of the mix of beef chopped meat with lamb chop in the juice without showing this on the menu, I simply have to award this one excellent. My February suggestion was taken seriously and the lamb was taken out if it is not marked as such. During my next visit to Varel I will reserve a table again, which is recommended due to the great demand especially on weekends."

Here in the restaurant side I have eaten several times with my wife and we were very happy with the freshly prepared and excellently seasoned dishes. In addition, the very friendly and attentive staff makes the stay at this place very pleasant.

As a vealer I know the predecessors of this restaurant and look forward to eating there. The curry sauce was the hammer and I wasn't disappointed. The ambience, food and value for money were great. I'm not upset about eating! Thank you to the side team....

During our holiday we stayed several times at the Restaurant Side . Not only the food that is worthy of a high standard, but also the friendly, almost personal service of the staff, which asked inconsistently according to wishes, let the evenings in this place become a highlight.

On Monday it is not so lush with the selection of open restaurants. That's how we tried. What we were excited about. Great ambience, very nice and fast service. Our food of salad with lamb strips and homedressing. Wow, what a plate. Delicious bread was also served. The meat well seasoned, slightly pink and delicate. Have fun. Then a greeting from the kitchen came a dessert. Very attentive, we were happy. Even the dog brought along was not a problem. We like to come back.

Good food, great service. The mixed salad at the beginning was fresh and lovingly made with a turned orange slice. I recommend the mixed grill plate. The meat was of good quality and was served hot. A freshly cultivated beer and an ouzo, as it belongs, was served deep-cooled in a glass of ice. For me a completely successful dinner. Only the juice had a proportion of lamb, which was unfortunately not shown in the menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. Prices are very good for my feeling for the good quality offered.

The food was good, there is bread and a salad and also a little dessert. I had a glass of wine and ordered a glass of tap water to eat. When the bill followed, I had to pay 90 cents for the tap water!!!!? I can't find that if you take wine for about 6 euros and then you have to pay for a single glass of tap water! There are tap water in 99 restaurants. I'd still understand if you don't order other drinks. I was on holiday in Sweden just before and there was tap water on the table every evening or you got it after the order without having to pay for it.

Grundsätzlich also ansprechende Konzepte.
