Very good tartare. Interesting to add genepi. Fondue with goat cheese was nice as well. We liked the duck as well. Croûte au fromage was very big. Staff is pleasant. Meringues du mayen is a sweet desert.

An excellent Swiss chalet, delicious specialities. He makes you go there to taste a good cheese fondue, selected by a cheese chef. And remember to book before in high season. Bel endroit typique.les serveuses sont en habits traditionnels, ça fait un peu kitsch mais pour les touristes je penses que ça fait un plus.Personnel très sympa, même avec beaucoup d'affluence ce soir-là.Entrée de viande séchée, très bonne et copieuseplat: -röstis montagnard, il faut vraiment avoir faim car le plat est très consistant, mais très bon.-Burger de bœuf d'herens, c'est rare que l'on demande la cuisson de la viande dans un burger, là c'était le cas. très bonne viande et bien copieux aussi.Pour déguster des plats typiquement valaisans, c'est la bonne adresse View menu

Wir waren mit Geschäftsfreunden dort, die das Restaurant gut kannten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich auf Französisch und deutsch begrüßt. Der Service ist sehr nett und es hat nicht lange gedauert. Zu essen gab es verschiedene Sorten Fondue und verschiedene Röstivariationen, aber auch Fleisch- und Nudelgerichte und Salate. Wir waren mit Käsefondue und Rösti sehr zufrieden. Dazu einen Weißwein aus der Gegend und eine sehr ansprechende Dessertkarte. Preislich völlig in Ordnung. Hauptgerichte ca 27 bis 30 CHF Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, wenn man typisch schweizerisch essen möchte.

Le insalate che abbiamo ordinato erano ok. Purtroppo il servizio era pessimo. La cameriera forse si era alzata col piede sbagliato al mattino, ma non è un motivo per fare il muso ai clienti e trattarli male.Abbiamo chiesto un bicchiere di vino bianco e nonostante abbiamo poi visto che ci sarebbero stati diversi vini a scelta non ci ha chiesto quale è ci ha semplicemente portato uno (veramente di bassa qualità) Mia moglie ha ad esempio ordinato un gelato alla fine parlando lentamente in inglese e la cameriera faceva finta di non capire nonostante mia moglie le indicava quale gelato desiderava sulla carta.La cameriera voleva assolutamente fare capire che qui si parla francese e che altrimenti...

After a week of amazing meals in Switzerland, we had a horrible experience at Le Mayen on our last night in Crans-Montana. The table next to us was occupied by six very drunk teenagers who were screaming and pounding on the table and knocking over bottles and glasses. One patron passed out on the table, and a fight broke out that got physical and resulted in one of the party being removed from the restaurant, but the rest of the party continued yelling and causing a commotion.
