"I ate here in May 2017.I had been looking for a place that did fladlesuppe and spaetzle (traditional foods of the area) and found them here.I have to say that there wasn't much ambience when I was there but I was eating quite early. I was welcomed very warmly by the staff and seated and order made in very short order. I had my fladlesuppe but wasn't too impressed - however I don't think this is down to the cooking, I think it is down the dish itself - just think that I am not a fan!Had a very good salad between courses, lovely fresh and crisp with a lovely dressing.for mains I had roast beef with spaetzle which was very nice and more than made up for my lack of enthusiasm towards the fladlesuppe.I had a lovely riesling and had another glass on the terrace after dinner.Overall, if you are looking for traditional food this is a good spot to go, however I wasn't blown away"

we were already in the restaurant before the opening and could already give up our order. we have eaten rösti, once with tomato and once with spinat. both rösti were super delicious. if it wasn't that far from home, we were probably regular guests. we were with the bike on the south black forest cycle trail and it was one of the best restaurants.

it was okay, but nothing special. so bad we were never served. stretchable glasses, slow and annoying operation. ashtray was not cleaned when the food was served. drinks were certainly 20 minutes empty and then we had to ask if we could get something. the service ran a lot empty. table stood full and she ran with empty tablet several colors past. because the ambiente is really beautiful. we are not coming back.

We needed to wait for the food for about 1 hour. There were many guests, but only 2 employees. Service was not good. We weren't asked for drinks, but needed to wait like 20 minutes for the first order. Empty plates from starters were not removed. As well main dishes plates stayed with us for very long. The food quality is medium only with no creativity. Prices are rather high for Germany.I would not go there again.
