Great place for a cheap night out. Good basic pub food, good decor with friendly helpful staff. Plus views of Preston Dock

Came for dinner pre cinema and it was no nice to see the revamped pub. Food was great I had the burger. The Irish lady behind the bar was brilliant throughout

Lovely staff and the food was good value and tasty . We have visited 3 times in a month and find it a nice cheerful place . Please don't change we keep bringing family and friends

I recently enjoyed a wonderful meal with my family at this restaurant. The service provided by the staff (a lady and a gentleman) was excellent - they were efficient and very courteous. The food was fantastic.

I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years, but I was presently surprised by the quality of the food. Three of us had steak and two had chicken, and all of the meals were very good. The service was also good.

We just popped out for a quick meal whilst family were staying. The staff were super friendly and provided first class service, with a smile. The food and drinks selection is excellent. Enjoyed our meal which is fine for the price and had a good night out.

On a dark and rainy night, my wife, dog, and I decided to stop for dinner at the Ribble Pilot. This pub stood out as a welcoming oasis with its bright lighting and roomy interior. The quick food service only added to the overall enjoyment. The food itself was fantastic, especially the Rocky Road Sundae. The staff were not only friendly, but also efficient. Additionally, the pub is welcoming to dogs, offering treats for our furry companions.

We went for lunch today and both enjoyed the food. We first chose a table before husband went to the bar to order the food and drinks…the latter were brought to our table and I think that’s good service. As I have a small appetite I was pleased they had a small fish and chips option on the lunch menu. The fish was tasty and I loved the chips…the best I’ve eaten in a long time! My partner opted for the classic burger which he enjoyed too. My only criticism was the music…tad too loud especially as it just consisted of a woman screaming! A lighter background choice would suit far more diners me thinks!

It was our first visit here. First impressions not great we stood around the bar area not knowing what to do. One man on the bar had his back to us making coffee . It would have been nice to be told 'be with you in a minute, or go and sit anywhere '. Eventually we were told we needed a table number before ordering at the bar. In that case it would be nice to be seated by someone, given a menu and being asked to go to the bar with a table number and choice. Once we got past working out what to do , the service was fast by really nice waitresses very polite and quick. Mainly the vegan food was really nice. A lovely bowl of leek and potato soup. We will go back as the food is nice, parking was...
