"The main problem, however, was the utter lack of authenticity in the Indian food they served. As someone who enjoys the rich flavors and spices of Indian cuisine, I expected a delightful culinary experience, but what I got was nothing short of a mockery of Indian food. The flavors were bland, the spices were missing, and it felt like they were catering to a completely different palate. To make matters worse, the portion sizes were laughably small for the high prices. Spending £30 at this place left me feeling as though I had hardly eaten anything at all. It’s outrageous to charge so much for such tiny servings. The final straw was the biryani rice, which was nothing more than a glorified pulao and completely lacking the authentic biryani taste and aroma. It’s disheartening to see a restaurant selling subpar dishes while claiming to offer authentic Indian cuisine. As someone with Indian roots, I can say with confidence that the flavors here do not represent genuine Indian cooking. It's frustrating to see many establishments, often run by individuals from Bangladesh or Pakistan, marketing their food as Indian while straying significantly from the real flavors. They take advantage of customers who may not know the difference, leading to overcharging for a misrepresented dining experience. In short, save your money and your taste buds, and look for a dining option that truly respects and reflects the authentic flavors of India. As for vegetarian options, they were tasteless."

So glad we stopped here for food. The dishes were all so tasty and reasonably priced. There was one man working FoH and the service we received was incredible. Probably some of the best service I have ever experienced in a restaurant! Service: Dine in Service: 5

I visited this restaurant for the first time with a group of friends, and we all had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. For our dinner, the price per person was around £30–40. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5.

Absolutely brilliant food, we just wandered in by chance whilst looking for a place for lunch while we were in the area. We were greeted by the lovely server and talked through the menu of Scottish/Indian fusion??! Sounds strange on paper but worked fantastically. Can't recommend this place enough, I want to eat the whole menu! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Our granddaughters birthday party.. first for us..but definitely not the last!..the staff were fantastic..the food was fantastic..this is a little gem of a place that people need to search out..we did!.. fabulous! Parking: Park in Tesco's nearby..you have to spend £5 in-store to get free parking.. going up the winding ramp is a bit daunting..but it's only a five minute walk to the restaurant! Service: Dine in View menu

Let's not be excessively critical, nor overly praising of this place. Here's a realists take on it.... Atmosphere: The restaurant had a funky music which was to my liking. The decor is hip, modern and the lighting was of a high standard. Service: I did wait considerably long for my burger 20+mins, however it did taste good. Food: The burger was tasty, a little on the pricey side but overall went down well for lunch One piece of advice, I did see a lot of pork on the menu. As someone who is half Indian and does not eat pork, I think more chicken options would roll in more customers ; All the best.

It's as if they think customers are unaware and will just accept whatever is served to them, but people are more discerning than they realize. They are selling spoiled food at outrageous prices, endangering customers' health to boost their profit margins. If a restaurant wants to be successful, it should at least provide good-quality food. I strongly advise against dining at this dreadful establishment. It's a trap for food lovers. If you’re skeptical, just read other reviews where people echo the same complaints. Furthermore, the staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional; they clearly don’t know how to respond to customer feedback publicly. They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and i...

"wasnt going to write a review but having booked in for my grandma's 88th birthday and to be told to go elsewhere if we wanted to be accomedated when we were sat at the table i can't not!! Such a shame as it did seem like it could be a bice little venue! Our waitress was helpfull enough, it seemed to be the management/ chef that wasnt, (which i assume was sarah) Even my grandma at 88 picked up on how we weren't really welcome there, It was an extremely awkward experience. We were recommended this place by family member whos a local who said it was nice! I've since told told family they need to try other places as if this is how they're treated then there's a whole new world out there. We arrived to being the only ones there and immediately felt an awkward presence like we shouldnt of been there! (Excluding one young girl with blond hair who was extremely apologetic to the lack of service they could offer) if it wasnt for her we would of left!! We immediately felt like we shouldn't of been there although we were booked in. We had already had a text to say that a new girl had booked us in and they couldn't accommodate us at 10.30 so to come at 11. We turned up at 11 and were given a drinks menu. We asked for a food menu and were told we don't really offer breakfast!! Were shocked as we booked in for breakfast. My mum had come from Liverpool and myself from Bury to take my grandma out for her Birthday! We asked for a few simple breakfast items eggs, bagles etc to be told to go down the road to another place if we wanted them!! I understand mistakes happen if they have booked us in too early but I'm sure they could if accomedated us for a little more. I would like to try for tapas but being so far away and the experience we've had I don't think it's worth the travel for us. Such a shame I think the chefs attitude could of been a little bit better and more accomedated."
