I had a family dinner at this restaurant, and while I enjoyed my meal, my wife unfortunately did not. My mother ordered the same dish, and they both found it to be quite dirty and lacking in flavor. On a positive note, there was a great selection of beers and apple wines, and the staff were lovely in this traditional pub setting.

First visit by us, taken by friends who have been there many times before. It was a very busy Sunday lunchtime, we all ate the carvery which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or deserts to be delivered. And all at a very good price. Would certainly be back and wholeheartedly recommend it. We had lunch on Sunday, and I was impressed by how attentive and helpful the staff were, despite their youth. They were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious! The menu was extensive, with plenty of options for both vegetarians and vegans, and they even offered smaller portion sizes. I had a ploughman’s plate that was fantastic. Great job, everyone!
