"We ate at this restaurant a few years ago twice and always had fond memories but on this occasion on Easter Sunday we were very disappointed and left angry. The restaurant was not full, with waiters on staff but the entire night we were...completely ignored. It took ages to order, we all had a menu set meal with the exception to me where I had a course. Every time we spoke to the waiter he replied very scarastic or rude. I had the goat cheese in puff pastry as a starter which was delicious, I enjoyed it very much. Then I had escargot which had no flavour at all. My main dish was too undercooked for my taste and also very bland, I switched it with my friend as his calf was over done and the dessert was just terrible. I had even ordered a bottle of wine to accompany the cheese. I got soft cheeses with no taste whats so ever. I left the cheese, and it stayed on my table for mins before a waiter approached and he only did so to clear the dishes. I said I didn't like the cheese and that you can get better cheese in a supermarket, he snapped back and said that was my review which he didn't care about. And he was right, he didn't care about us the entire night, He didn't even once asked us if we enjoyed our courses. They also have no knowledge of wines, I asked for a full body and I got medium wines times the market price. They could of taken my uneaten cheese off the bill but they didn't bother, so for the first time ever, I didn't leave a tip. They are much much better French restaurants in Munich, this place has lost its taste and its service. I paid EUR for garbage."

If you want to enjoy high quality French food, excellent services and spend a very good evening, the “ Rue des Halles” is one the place in Munich where I recommend to come. The restaurant is situated in a very quiet environment (Haidhausen) which pleased...us!

While walking through the area where this restaurant is located, we dropped in because the place looked comfortable and welcoming. Our waiter, Matthew, made the evening memorable. The food was excellent, fresh and perfectly prepared and presented beautifully. We will definitely return to Rue des...Halles on our next visit to Munich!

After years back in this place. I took Schnecken /Escargots which were ok but not special. After that I had the duck which was good. We have chosen a Bordeaux for Euro because one of the friends knows french wines pretty well. The...wine was the biggest disappointment. Dessert was Creme brûlée, which was excellent. No reason to come back soon. See you in years. View menu

After reading good reviews on ta, I booked this restaurant as it was near the hilton munich city where we were. we were not disappointed, this very good French restaurant served both meat and fish. I had the lame, cooked. perfect with a very good sauce. my wife had the bouulibasse, again a very tasty dish. this place also has a very good wine selection through the glass or bottle. the service was a very friendly, helpful waiter. finally excellent value for money. in consideration of the whole round quality, the bill was very reasonable.

Back for a third visit and still love the place. Is it the food? Yes. Is it the staff? Yes. Is it a great dining experience? Yes. Located in a safe neighborhood with many restaurant, Rue des Halles is a quiet, smaller, take your time...to savor the food place to dine. Reservation recommended. Take you choice of the blackboard specials or ample menu choices to enjoy fine creative fine French food. The aromas, presentation and flavors are mean to be savored. We did not go away hungry. Definitely try the appetizers. Each in our party loved the choices. Best veal chop or rack of lamb. Do not bypass the dessert, especially champagne sorbet. One comment regarding the bill. They need to decide if t... View menu

I found this jewel of joy because I wanted to escargot, and my man wanted Foie-Gras. rue des halles can stand up. would have made our beautiful hotel reservations for us. it was so surprised that we could go from our hotel. it is in a private and neighboring. we were. to the fabulous table! our server was from france and a real profi at his work! the atmosphere is a truly French bistro. they have daily specials, on the calcareous board or he gives them an ipad . we were treated so beautifully. then the first cursor arrived! so perfect! the chicken roulette with duxelle and sauce, was so fabulous! the lamb chops were cooked so perfectly! the crack on the bone of the lamb was to die, thank you...

Had a family dinner organised for people with a preordered menu, suggested by the staff and everything was outstanding. The stting of the long table was elegant and definitely upmarket. The choice was: salmon tartar mit potatoe salad and dill sauce or goat cheese...in puffpastry on salad, bouillabaise or veal filet and dessert per person chocolate cake, creme brulee and berry sorbet. It was perfectly prepared, well presented and generous. The veal tender and pink, the bouillabaise rich and the creme brulee plus cake and sorbet fantastic. Everybody was very happy and loved and enjoyed the food. Not to forget the amuse guele, a potatoe dill soup which I would have like more! The waiters were a...

"This restaurant has a very informative homepage! The pictures and descriptions of the food very appealing. Vietnamese and Thai dishes and sushi are offered here. At noon very cheap offers, but also the prices for evening are still ok. When I read that a lot of value is placed on fresh ingredients and preparation, that sounds promising in any case. The images from the local area also made me positive. I chose the place to eat there with a group of 8 people. But I'd rather go to the number safe and wanted to make a small pre-test today. When I stood in front of the place, I remembered that I've been here a few times when it was the Mistura Tropicana. I had this from the ambience and the temperatures but not so good memories. It has changed visually but very positively. Much dark wood and also dark tables, chairs and benches. The walls in a beautiful cream yellow. In front of the windows the green curtains are a beautiful color pick. As usual in more and more restaurant 's, the bar is illuminated indirectly with LED, here in a green. My accompaniment didn't find it too good, but I did. Only disturbing for me was a bright, bright metal tree in the entrance area. I don't think it's the rest of the place. LEIDER was very cool. The oven was probably turned on quite late. It became a bit warmer during the evening. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend a cardigan here. The tables are very nicely covered and there are small floral decorations and tea lights. But they only burn at the tables that are occupied and that was only our table at 6:00. At about 10 a.m. there was another couple, otherwise the place remained empty. The service was super friendly and super attentive and yet with restraint. At dinner I did not discover my beloved Bo La Lot on the map, a pity! So my choice fell on baked Wantan (3,90€) that are made themselves. They were already at the table. That really went very hard. But they were really made themselves. The filling is quite captive/compact (I lack the appropriate word to describe it better, but well tasted. They were very crispy. Sweet Chili Sauce also tasted good. We didn't have to wait long for the main courts. Once roasted rice ribbon noodles with chicken (10,50€ and once red curry with tofu and vegetables (9,50€ . Great that they are placed in bowls on a small tree, so the dishes are warm longer. The dishes were served in beautiful bowls. Only the parsley as decoration is already very retro; taste also very good. Vegetables had a slight bite. Beverage prices: 0.4l water for 2.50€, soft drinks/choices 0.4l for 3,50€ and wine 0.2l for 4,00€. And unfortunately again here the beer is cheaper than a soft drink: 0.5l for 3.50€. Our desire for separate invoices was met without any problems and we were offered an espresso or schnapps etc. Here we liked to pamper with a plum wine. There are still a few small comments: Sushi is not available for the next 14 days (Sushimeister has vacation we only experienced on request, I would have liked to know as an info if the menu is handed over toilets are in the basement, so not disabled. However clean, although very 70s The customer parking places are not freed from snow (request: obviously the evaluation was read, because at the 2nd. Visit was the snow cleared A few words to the 2nd visit with 8 people: The place was not overly crowded again, but there was a birthday party in the basement that had only made karaoke and from 20/20.30 we went up to the restaurant for dinner, but we had just been in the break. Service very nice and friendly. Beverages and food were often served only from one side and we guests should then pass on, we all found a little disturbing. Better 4 guests from one side and the other 4 then from the other side. There was Krupuk. Afterwards we still have mango with a mixture of salt, garlic, chili and shrimp powder get VERY sharp, interesting and tasty. In addition, candied ginger (also delicious . All ordered dishes have been good and very good! Only the fact that Pangasius was panned in the Rotcurry was not so beneficial. Because he was covered with redcurry, the panade was very soft and gly. Either I got to serve it separately from each other or better: use Pangasius nature. In the menu there was no indication of panade. Portions all very big! Service and food have definitely convinced me and I also like the ambience. (Okay, except on the flashing LED tree."
