"Por desgracia cerró. Pero se trataba lugar magnífico, con una comida excepcional y un servicio exquisito. Ubicado en un lugar único, con aspecto de cueva laberíntica, que impresiona desde el primer hasta el último momento. La comida buenísima, con especial mención a la pizza de queso con patata deliciosa. Y los precios dentro de lo razonable. Además en su día fue Grupo Vips, con lo que muchas de las promos eran válidas, como los 2x1 en cenas, lo que hacía que fuese simplemente único, maravilloso. Una pena que Vips lo vendiese (gracias a eso se salvó del cierre, que le hubiera tocado, como a sus hermanos Lucca, Tattaglia, Paparazzi o -un poco diferente- Teatriz). Y una pena que finalmente cerrase hace un par de años. Era un lugar único en Madrid, se mire por donde se mire."

Great friendly service. All new faces. But the quality fo the food has decreased noticeably. We dine here whenever we come to Madrid.

The place is cosy but need some uplifting (the design is tired). We had a lovely waitress, who manage to cover an average dishes with her smiley attitude.

I had the opportunity to come to this restaurant once and although the food was excellent, it's a little more expensive, so I wouldn't qualify it as a 4-star.

a spectacular atmosphere, and Italian food of good quality. highly recommended, a penalty that is currently closed because it is a very picturesque place where you eat luxury.

Wonderful and dedicated service by their new staff. It's a neighborhood place. Unpretentious. The food has gotten very good again. Great manager. We'll be back as we usually do when in Madrid.

Rugantino is a cozy restaurant, excellent for families that love to meet around a Italian food table. They have the expected Italian dishes and also some innovations based on classical Italian dishes. The value for money is very good and, on top of it, the waiters are very correct providing an excellent service that is actually one the things that made a dinner or lunch a good experience in this restaurant. Rugantino appears to have changed management and it is for the better. The service was excellent and the food first rate. Apart from pastas and pizza, they offer solomillo de ternera which we al enjoyed. For starters we had Calamari with zucchini, a very good potato stuffed with smoked salmon and buffalo mozzarella. The tiramisu for dessert was also good. The wine list is not extensive but has a well selected range. Our bill for four persons came to just over €210, which included two bottles of a Reserva wine. Overall, thoroughly recommended!
