"Friendly country style atmosphere. The staff can't do enough for you and are very attentive, but let you relax and enjoy your meal without hovering over you like in some places. Had the Sunday roast lunch and the quality of the ingredients are obvious on first bite. The roast beef is served up as thick as a steak, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The same effort goes into the veg mash, they're more than just plate fillers, along with the yorkie roastie (and the red wine gravy is delicious). Also had the squid for starters. Lightly battered with a tasty sauce and slaw, notoriously hard to get right, but they do it. And all finished off with the best homemade warm chocolate brownie I've ever had in my life with what I believe was homemade ice cream, the perfect end to a fantastic meal. The only shock you'll get are the prices, it's an absolute bargain. Parking: Plenty of space, no issues even when it's busy."

Was at Sally's for my birthday on the 30th nov,had turkey and ham dinner,which was followed by strawberry cheese cake,it was absolutely gorgeous and portion sizes where big,I loved it....x

Had a fantastic family party here, staff were well organised and delivered fantastic service. Food for group of 30 was served together and delicious. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

was here a few times, but 4 of us went last night to a friend birthday meal and it was fantastic! the food was incredible, the staff was super friendly and they could not do enough for us! can not recommend it very enough, especially the chocolate fountain that I am informed by john, is cooked from fresh; it is worth the 12-minute waiting, they believe me! would not have had a better evening, thanks to all involved!
