"A friend suggested this gastropub saying that it was pretty good and the value was good overall. I was pretty disappointed as I checked the menu beforehand and had already chosen to order the venison fillet, I was so looking forward to eat it! Unfortunately the menu they have on Opentable isn't the same they're currently offering. I therefore opted for scallops as a starter (they were ok, nothing exciting and a chicken breast with a kale, cauliflower, and other bits salad. The chicken was tasteless and tough, it was not a good choice. My boyfriend got the pork cheek and the smoked haddock. They were alright. We also got a dessert (apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious (at least! . We drank one beer and two glasses of house wine, and the bill was £90. I think it could've been cheaper considering what we got and the area (Queen's Park, not Oxford Circus . I won't go again and wouldn't recommend to a friend, sorry."
