"I have always adored this cozy little restaurant. Since Covid, it has become even cleaner and more upscale with new lighting fixtures, giving it a touch of class. Although it is a Sri Lankan restaurant, it also offers dishes that are popular in South Indian cuisine due to the similar cultures. Being a South Indian myself, I feel right at home here enjoying traditional dishes like Dosa, Idly, Paratha, and Thali meals. One of my favorite dishes is the Chicken fried rice prepared in the Indo Chinese style, which is absolutely fantastic! The staff is welcoming, the food is authentic and reminds me of home, and the restaurant always seems to be bustling with customers."

Delicious seafood kothu roti, mutton curry, parotha and fish cutlets. Way better than the Sri Lankan food i’ve had elsewhere. Lovely waiters and wonderful experience. I will definitely return here!

This is a great spot to enjoy Sri Lankan cuisine. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend trying the kasava fry dish and I will definitely be returning in the future. View menu

Sambal certainly has a lot of Sri Lankan varieties of food, such as short eats, string hoppers etc... However, the rice and curries are very much Indian and not authentic Sri Lankan. I appreciate the string hoppers and the vades, Roast Paan, but wish there were more Sri Lankan vegetables and curries available.

It's one of the best Sri lankan restaurants in South harrow. Also the staffs are very dedicative and helpful. This take away Express is always busy and the foods are maintained higher quality. The environment is so clean and tidy meantime all customers are requested to follow the covid restrictions. It's really good habit in here. Overall this is the best place to buy food in South harrow.

The service at this restaurant was incredibly poor. We waited a long time for the two starters we ordered, and only one eventually arrived after we asked multiple times. We were informed that the order had not been sent to the kitchen and that it may take at least 15 more minutes if we still wanted the second starter. We even had to request plates. Overall, our visit was very disappointing. View menu

This is a business who passionately perfected and preserved the authenticity of Sri Lankan food for over two decades. We had . Mutton Rolls Vegetable Rolls Chicken Kothu Roti Masala Dosa Mutton Devilled . All of the above is only £21.55 and the portion size is generous. Each dish has its own unique flavour and every bite tests all your taste buds. . Our favourite dish by far was the chicken kothu roti.

A friend introduced me to Sambal Diner a year back. Ever since me and my wife have been regulars there. Atleast once in 2-3 weeks we do a takeaway from there. The food is amazing and not once have we had reason to complain. The Hoppers,String hoppers, Puttu, Kothuroti are all amazing. The prawns curry is packed with flavour. The Netholli fry (anchovies) is a must try. The ambience is very relaxed and you get a feel as if you are sitting in a tea/coffee shop in Sri Lanka.

"The venue, food, service, value and portions are all 10/10. I absolutely love the whole vibe of this restaurant, it feels so authentic and the staff are all so lovely. My first encounter here was a first date back in 2015; we have visited many times since but to point out a few special ones, we returned to celebrated our pregnancy news, our engagement and then most recently when that date became my husband, we came back to Sorrentina with our family to celebrate our wedding day. The organisation for our party of 25 was impeccable, the food all came out in a structured and timely manner. The quality of the food was incredible as it always is fresh, authentic Italian food cooked to perfection Sorrentina is the perfect little spot for a romantic dinner, a family meal or a larger party meal. Sentimental feelings aside, I truly cannot fault it in any way. Needless to say we’ll be back! But more importantly, the feedback from our 20+ guests that hadn’t been here before was that they all really enjoyed the food, the staff were lovely and that they’d definitely return. Some have even gone and recommended it to their friends and families local people supporting a small local business! A humongous thank you to Tony, Emilio, Adriano and all the rest of the lovely staff, there wasn’t any other place we’d have wanted to spend our day."
