"My wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat away from the lakeside, where everything is expensive, and the menu at Trastevere seemed to fit the bill, so we headed for it. As we were studying the menu by the entrance one of the waiters (actually I think he was the only one) tapped my wife on the should and made some comment. I dismissed it at the time but in retrospect it did seem a bit forward. He thought himself as a charmer for the ladies, but being middle age and rather overweight he was anything but. Eventually we ordered a beer for myself, a glass (250ml as per the menu) for my wife, 2 mixed salads, and a pizza to share simple enough you would have thought. The drinks came first of course, my beer, plus a small glass of wine. I inspected the glass and although there was a 250ml marker on it, the level in the glass was nowhere near it. I tried on several occasions to attract the waiters attention, but without success, but eventually with some arm waving he came over. I said that we had ordered a 250ml glass of wine, as per what was the only option on the menu (apart from a bottle), and this clearly wasn 't 250ml. He said it was a small glass, and eighth, ie;125ml, but this wasn 't what we ordered, and anyway there was no such item on the menu, and therefor the price was unknown. After much discussion to and fro he took the glass away and re appeared a few minutes later with a Quarto Litro caraffe plus an empty glass. Now why couldn 't he have done that in the first place, why argue with a customer. The Pizzas came next, already cut in half, but no salads, and also no cutlery. After a few minutes I walked over to the cutlery draw and helped myself, just has he appeared by the door, but he didn 't say anything it was as if he knew he had forgotten them, maybe on purpose ? Still no sign of the salads either, and after a further few times in trying to attract his attention, I asked where the salads were, and his reply was 'They 're coming '. By the time the salads eventually arrived, the pizzas were 3/4 eaten, in fact if I hadn 't had to wait for the cutlery, they would already have been finished. So, would I recommend this restaurant, and maybe go there again well you can draw your own conclusion to that. Needless to say, I didn 't leave a tip."

"Schönes Landhotel mit tollem Biergarten am Ortsrand von Gmund. Nette, gut ausgestattete Zimmer mit modernen Bädern. Gutes Frühstück und das in einem wunderschönen Gastraum. Haus und Gastronomie wird von einem sehr jungen und modernen Team geleitet. Einziger Nachteil ist die Lage an der belebten Ortsumgehungsstraße, da wird es doch schon früh laut bei offenem Fenster. Rooms: Zimmer ausreichend groß, gut ausgestattet und mit schönen modernen Bädern versehen. Leider alle ohne Balkone und, je nach Lage zur Straße hin, durch den morgendlichen Autoverkehr teilweise sehr laut. Nearby activities: Ca 500 mtr zum Tegernsee. Direkt am Hotel beginnt der Wald und erste Wander- Radwege. Gmund selbst bietet nicht besonders viel. Vom Bootsanleger kann man aber mit der Tegernsee Flotte zu jedem anderen Seeort fahren. Ein Muss ist natürlich Tegernsee mit der riesigen Bräustübel Biergarten oder das belebte Rottach Egern. Walkability: Zum See 500 mtr, Bootsanleger etwa 700mtr, Ortskern etwa 1,5 km. Food drinks: Kleine feine Biergartenkarte mit typisch bayrischen Gerichten. Alles sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Preislich leicht gehoben."

"Ich schreiben heute eine Rezension als Mitarbeiterin in dem Gasthof!!! Ich hatte schon ein paar Anstellungen in der Gastronomie, aber nirgends habe ich mich so willkommen gefühlt wie hier! Meine Chefs sind immer so verständnisvoll und lieb. Sie legen großen Wert auf Sauberkeit, egal ob in der Küche oder auf den Zimmern. Ich würde immer wieder dort Arbeiten und wünsche der Familie Huß nur das Beste! Service: 5"

"the location on the tegernsee is unique, from the restaurant and its upstream beer garden they have a great view of the lake. as large as its view is also the price level in the sense of extremely high. we wanted to go to dinner here and then decided to go somewhere else because of the very high prices. when I had dinner with my partner there at a later time, we thought we were doing something special. Unfortunately, eating was only average and for that it was abundantly expensive. in summer you can enjoy the view outside in the beer garden to go, even here the prices are rather salted. because of the high familiarity they also have to expect a high level."
