"Excellent surprise in the center of Udine, recommended by friends, even though I heard it had been open for some time. Excellent food, including traditional Roman fried foods in my opinion, and pizza which has the crunchiness of a northern pizza but which has a lot of flavour. There were two of us and we took the mixed fried food, 6 pieces, €15 but it was honest because the portions are generous. Plus a pizza each. I would recommend doing a mixed fry for two with only 1 of each type. Because otherwise you'll only eat that. The service was friendly, perhaps a little slow because we arrived at around 7.20pm with two tables besides ours and waited a bit. The place could present itself better, the curtains between the rooms that make them different from each other (for me this doesn't make it clear what soul the place has) and the path to the bathroom that lets you see every corner of the restaurant including the employees taking a break is ugly in my opinion. Modern place furnished with style, bright and welcoming. 4 of us ate the pizza, and it made all of us very thirsty and had digestion problems and more. Beautiful place, with lots of attention to detail. Each table with several real flowers (which you don't see around much anymore.. and candles. The kind and precise service. The pizzas are undoubtedly among the best in Udine with very interesting toppings. And the tagliatelle with San Daniele absolutely recommended!! The desserts made there are delicious. I would like to start this review by describing the dirtiness of the bathrooms. I have never had such a dirty bathroom (sanitary fixtures and floors) in a restaurant which is well looked after in the rooms and outside. Very rude waiters, not even a smile during service and seemed to express hostility towards customers. Excessive waiting times. More than an hour for six pizzas and a salad even though the place wasn't full. Anything that isn't pizza is priced too high to be in Udine and for the quality. €15 for a Cesar salad, which was really small and had little salad and three pieces of chicken, seems like a lot to me. The pizza however was good and in line with the prices.
