"Arrogant, overrated and super rude waiter and waitress. If you want to wasted you money to be treated like a piece of garbage, then by all means go there. I am a local. I live in Willesden Green and I have many friends who live in the area. My child goes to school there, and i am friend with the parents of my child's friends who all live in the area. During the pandemic, we tried to help the small local businesses such as Sanzio. We went there in June, with some of our friends families, with children, of us in total) on a Sunday. There were people, good turnover, but not packed (there were several free tables). Service was slow, waiters don't look at customers, they look at their feet so it was always challenging to grab their attention but we didn't mind the slow service as it was a sunday (in June and we wanted to relax and not put pressure on the staff. We ordered a lot: wine, starters, mains...we got there at We had no idea we had the table for just hours (the waiters did not even tell us or reminded us). Yet at precisely a waiter (who did not wear any face mask by the way. there is sign at the restaurant that people had to wear face masks until they seat at their table, yet on of their waiters did not wear a face mask at all) came to our table, gave us the bill and told us to vacate in min because our table was booked for just like that, out of the blue... We were shocked obviously since we have been struggling to catch their attention and besides, there were tables (seating people in total) that were empty. My wife complained that they could have informed us when we made the booking. One of the waitress then came (even more arrogant and rude that the maskless waiter) and told my wife it was in the booking. When you booked, we told you you had hours My wife showed her the booking confirmation that there is no indication of hours. The waitress left and came back min later to show my wife the h booking does not appear in the confirmation email but it appears when you make the booking She then shoved her mobile phone onto my wife's face Look, it shows here: you have hours Impressive, the waitress proved her point that she was right. Hurrah, hurrah.... at the people who booked our table for arrived but as there were many empty tables, they were more than happy to sit at another free table, so the same waitress cam and told us Oh, you can stay because the other guests don't mind sitting at another table. You are lucky, you can stay longer and order desserts We couldn't believe our ears we were lucky?? To give you our hard earned money in a time of pandemic when most hospitality businesses likes your are closing down... The prices are very high. You'd pay the same prices as you would in touristic areas like Oxford street, for the same, or even worse, ok food and rubbish service. There are many other good Italian local restaurants, just across the corner. My family shall never step foot in that restaurant ever again."

fantastic two-course dinner at a very reasonable price. fast service, very friendly waiters, they even sang me happy birthday all three of our pasta dishes were beautiful, and the pizzas on other tables looked enormous. would definitely go, again.

the best place in the heart of willesden green. eating is amazing. staff very friendly, professional and attentive in everything, especially our waitress, jessica, amazing girls, always smile. I come back definitiw, I cannot resist the “Insalata del Capo”.

last Saturday I came with my partner to sanzio and we enjoyed a perfect evening. the eating was very good, the atmosphere was friendly and the personal keeps a very good mood over it! homemade pizzas and pasta that we loved! we will be back soon! we would recommend it!

I love this Italian restaurant, an small spot in Willesden Green where you can enjoy a chat with friends or a private dinner and party. It's friendly and welcoming, I really like their mussels and the salmon pasta a part from the tasty rose wine we had. The service it was awesome, I would definitely come back.

We went for a meal there recently, and the food taste great, even better than before so well done to Maria and the team. Although we have provided some feedback to the owner Maria who ensured that these feedback were taken on board by her and the staff very seriously. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in Willesden Green area which we are so lucky to have such a long standing restaurant in WG area. Having been regulars at the restaurant for some years we decided it was the perfect venue to celebrate our wedding. Our guests were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and the whole night proceeded without a hitch. The food was delicious and every guest was served promptly and every meal was hot no mean feat when serving 26 people at the same time. Sanzio is my amazing local Italian. It’s not glam but it is very cosy and incredibly welcoming. The entire decor of the restaurant is so very homey, with windows decked in gleaming gold fairly lights, the dark wooden tables littered with shimmering candles, and an array of paintings on the walls. Named after Raphael Sanzio da Urbino, and Italian painter and architect of the high renaissance the restaurants has a similar traditional artistic feel.
