"We enjoyed the lunchtime menu here and found it to be excellent value for money, great food, and excellent service. The lunchtime 2 course for £11.95 runs from 11am to 4pm (I think) and is an incredibly generous deal. The portions appeared small but were perfectly filling. The staff made a fuss of our daughter, and we very well looked-after. The food was a little slow to arrive, but it was fresh and looked great, so who cares. We will definitely be back for lunch again, I highly recommend. Went there on Saturday night for a birthday meal. 12 people in our party. The service was appalling. The drinks were half served with members of the party waiting 20 minutes. Been here a couple of times and definitely my favourite place to eat out in Maldon. Food is so flavourful, especially the kebabs with the smokey charcoal taste. Service is amazing and you feel really valued as a customer even when they are busy. If you live further out, it's definitely worth the journey.
