"The review does not refer to the actual restaurant, but to the possibility to make a picnic on Sunday in the area of the castle. A picnic basket then costs 88 € for two persons. To make it short. The ambience is really very beautiful. That's all you can say about positives. The picnic basket contains two rolls, two lubricated breads, two potatoes a small amount of sauce, six frying balls, 2 potatoes and some dessert. In addition, there is a bottle of champagne and a bottle of water per person. When you read this, it sounds much better than it is in reality. We had the feeling of having an absolute cheap breakfast. Conclusion: never again!"

We stayed at Schlosshotel Kronberg for Easter brunch. Unfortunately we had to find that it was not worth the 89 €. It was all very decorative, but the taste was disappointing. The fish was just a trout, while the duck was rough, but also a bit dry. Saturation supplements in cream sauce soaked and almost only vegetables. Worse was the shrimp cocktail, where were the shrimps? It was rewarded only for the wine drinkers, which was included in the price. Service was excellent.
