"We were really craving authentic chinese food and this restaurant did the trick for us. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and has the perfect amount of salt and spice. I highly recommend getting their 口水鸡 if you like spicy and numbing food; the chicken was tender but the star of the show was the sauce. After we ate all the chicken, we mixed the sauce with our rice. The service was great as well. We arrived close to 12:45 pm and was shortly seated. We received our order in 15-20 minutes which is pretty standard and all waitresses and waiters were so courteous and quick. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The negative reviews can be off putting, but from most that I read, most customers had a problem with slow service and mainly arrived late to their reservation or close to the kitchen closing."

As a Shanghainese, I highly recommend Shanghai Kitchen. I love it! The sweet and sour fish 糖醋鱼 and the sause duck 酱鸭 were absolutely delicious! They brought back memories of home for me. The chopped pepper fish was also great. However, I didn't like the scallion noodles 葱油拌面 very much. I found them too sweet.

Fresh, honest Asian flavors were the order of the evening. Now, we couldn't get an English menu French or Chinese only (Google Translate is your friend). But we tried three dishes: Kung Pao chicken, pepper steak, and shrimp with glass noodles. All were delicious, but I really loved the spicy (not too hot) peppers with thin sliced beef. A delightfully balanced dish that I just couldn't stop eating.
