"While staying overnight in Navia, we were lucky to find a restaurant that was open due to a holiday. Lucky indeed as it turned out, because Sidreria El Cantabrico was an absolute winner. Waiting in the bar for the restaurant to open, required a few pre-dinner drinks, and the barman with a great sense of theatre, performed the trick of holding a cider bottle as far away as possible from the glass before pouring in the cider. Asturian cider is a little like Somerset Scrumpy and you don't need a lot to feel quite mellow, but we enjoyed perhaps a little more than we should have, just to see the pouring custom one more time. The meal that followed was equally impressive, with an intensely flavoured shellfish soup, chock full of crustacea, followed by perfectly steamed mussels and fried baby squid. The service was so friendly and efficient, with not a word of English, but we had no trouble in making our requests understood in rather bad Spanish. A great evening all round for less than 18 euros per person (there were 4 of us) including a bottle of wine and the ciders."

Si bien la carta asusta en precios, tienen un menú riquísimo. Siempre esta lleno pero vale la pena esperar. Buen servicio y calidad de comida.

Fuimos hoy sábado recomendados, y no falló , menú de fin de semana muy bueno y abundante , a 20 € , y servicio muy rápido y eficaz . Repetiremos cuando volvamos a Navia .

Aunque tuvimos que esperar para comer al no tener mesa reservada, valió la pena. Con un menú asequible de 12€/p, y relación calidad de precio buena y satisfactoria. Atención y trato agradable. Repetiría sin dudar.

Si pasas por Navia y quieres probar cocina casera y rica, no puedes perderte este local. Es pequeño pero muy acogedor. Tiene buena relación calidad precio Recomiendo reservar antes de ir a comer o cenar,aunque normalmente hay sitio. Es perfecto para tomar el vermú o un vinito de noche

¿Cansado de cachopos que solo son grandes y estáb meh de sabor, que te los sirve un camarero que parece que está puesto por el ayuntamiento? Pues este es vuestro lugar. Se nota que la materia prima es de calidad y la saben usar, además de estar acompañado de un servicio muy atento sin ser pesados. Recomendable los chipirones con cebolla.
