"Not been here for a long time so thought we'd give it a try. Ordered starter off the specials menu, breaded goats cheese and the wife had black pudding in a French mustard and cream sauce. Yeah I know very Italian right. Both perfectly edible...but very ordinary and at 7 per starter not worth the money. Mains, two pasta dishes again perfectly edible just very standard. We didn't have desert as the offering looked rubbish. Kids had pizza and garlic bread which was again all fine. In total for four £73 which was on the low side of what it could have been. If we had chosen a chicken, fish or beef dish we'd have easily added £15-20 to the overall bill without even desert or coffee. In summary, very standard ordinary food which would take little skill to cook and prepare, expensive for what it is. Unlikely to return."

this place is by no means cheap but you do get a good meal here, we leave long gaps in going here due to the cost but Angelo, Marco and the gang make you feel very welcome

Me and my daughter went here on my birthday a couple of weeks ago and cannot fault this place. The staff were so friendly and always checked to ensure you were happy. We really enjoyed our meals and the cheesecake was amazing!!! I would definitely...recommend this place and will be returning again soon.

last night with friends. eating was absolutely shocking. we put the starter down to be a bad choice, but the netzen were so bad that we couldn't eat them. probably the worst Italian food I've ever eaten. so be ashamed because the personal. really nice and friendly. we paid £11 each for a starter and a drink. left feeling very despised and hungry would avoid this place to all cost. very expensive for shocking eating.

Marco is a legend, and all the other staff members were incredibly nice and friendly. I can't thank them enough! Marco worked tirelessly, and from the booking process to the last bite of food, everything was excellent. Marco, you truly are a star! I give a perfect 10/10 for everything — from the service to the food to the hospitality. We will definitely be coming back more often. Many thanks for making David's 50th birthday celebration an unforgettable event!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a family birthday. It's a small place, but they manage to accommodate quite a few guests. The parking area behind the restaurant is somewhat hidden and limited, located behind a motorcycle shop. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff took a bit of getting used to, as they come across as a bit theatrical, but once we adjusted, it was fine. The only downside to the evening was the noise level; it was difficult to hear our family conversations.

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
