"Can i just say how wonderful this little place is. So cosy on an Autumnal day. My mum and i popped in today for a cup of tea and cake. Being Gluten and Wheat Intolerant it is very hard to get nice cakes. We couldn't of been made more welcome. As soon as we stepped in the door we were met with smiling staff and when we asked if you did Gluten free cakes, the kind member of staff told me all the options. I opted for Belgian Choc and Coconut cake. If there wasn't any other customers i would of licked the plate. It was fabulous moist just like normal sponge. My mum had a Plain Scone (gluten loaded haha) and said it was lovely. We will definitely be back. Thanks again xxx"

We had a lovely afternoon tea in this very nice cafe. The sandwiches and scones were delicious and so filling that the slice of cake was to go . Our waitress was delightful and so attentive. Certainly worth the five Stars.

Great tearoom, friendly staff, the cafe was lovely and cool to say it was so hot today. A vegan cake option was available, plant milk option for our exceptional coffee. I recommend a visit. We will visit again next time we're in Scotland.

What a place in a small town. We were on for a road trip from Edinburgh to Inverness and stopped there for breakfast. Coffee was amazing and strong exactly what I like. Their cake selection was pretty good and friendly staff. The town itself is serene and beautiful. Loved that place. Everything looked fresh and whatever we ordered was really good. Place is clean and cozy.

Delicious. Quick stop in out of the freezing wind. Decided to have lunch...Broccoli soup for me and Mac Cheese for the Big man. Simple food but so flavoursome and filling. For afters, a slice of Victoria Sponge for him and I had the most amazing Apple Cinnamon Cake with a light Italian meringue topping. The staff were lovely with great service. If we ever come back to Dunkeld we will eat here again

"This place has all the potential for a 5 star experience and you may well have it by going here! Unfortunately, we did not and it's worth explaining why. For context, we didn't stay overnight just had a meal in the restaurant one night and went to the beer garden another. Restaurant: Food was generally very good and prices reasonable. I'd especially recommend the tempura chard if it's on the menu! The setting of the restaurant is also lovely. However, we ended up waiting about an hour between starters and main meal 2 people . We were advised approx 40 minutes into the wait that one of the mains was no longer available and a substitute would be provided there was some gnocchi improvised from potato mash involved. Service were on top of this though and did remove this item from the bill. So in summary, good elements involved but a couple areas that could do with attention. Beer garden: We went along to the beer garden to catch the rugby world cup final. This was sadly quite a disappointing experience that ended up with the limited attendance clearing out before half time . In short, coverage only started after national anthems. No sound other than via headphones ?? , which didn't work ?! . Pizzas were pretty tasty but the cheese was stringy as a ball of yarn positive with no cutlery or tissues provided negative . And at c. £16 per pizza, felt a bit cheated by the whole experience. The rooms themselves look lovely and I'm sure on a summer's day if you're looking to enjoy some drinks and a bit of food in a lovely setting, the Taybank probably covers exactly what you're looking for! They also run a traditional music session in the main bar on a Thursday evening, which is absolutely worth checking out! But I'm afraid for us, it's unlikely we would rush back for anything other than that."
