Station Cafe - Menu

Not only was I overcharged compared to their published prices but the food was cold. The egg fried rice had no egg and the chicken was cold. Prawn toast also cold.

Never had a bad meal. Always hot and tasty. Very friendly and have recommended it to many people who still go there. Great menu, reasonable prices, great portion sizes

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best Chinese food in town. I tried the Cantonese ribs for the 1st time with my order and I'm hooked. Very good portions, great value for money and the best customer service. Thankyou guys for amazing all round takeaway. View menu

Just ordered from our favourite Chinese to collect and when I got my order I was surprised to see an Easter egg. What an absolutely lovely gesture. The food was lovely as it always is and pudding was lovely. Thank you station cafe and happy Easter to you all.

Thank you Station Cafe for a devine dinner! Had a fantastic meal once again, the individual dishes I had were a delight and cooked just perfect for my palet. Looking forward to next time. Delivery was punctual, well within the given time frame and no issues. Highly Recommended!

Smashing Chinese. Incredibly consistent quality. Dishes the same great quality every time. As far as I can see, many of the poor reviews are relating to delivery time. Sadly an amazing takeaway like this gets very busy at peak times. I make sure to order good and early!! They told us it would be a 1 hour 10 minute wait for food to be delivered, which we were happy with and understood it’s Friday night so would be busy but over 2 hours later and still no sign of the food despite calling for an update. It was well past time for dinner and we had already paid upfront so no opportunity to cancel. No compensation offered either. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking to eat something on the same day you order it, might take a while to actually arrive.

As a meat-eater I like this place, but tonight I was reminded why we use it so infrequently. For the vegetarians of my family it is terrible. Watery, tasteless sauces and dishes loaded with sloppy beansprouts. Other than a few slithers of carrot and some chunks of green pepper, the mixed vegetable stir-fry is just onion and beansprout. The Tofu dish was no better. We love eating out in Chinese restaurants, which can be fantastic for vegetarians, but I'm afraid Station Cafe falls far short of providing anything enjoyable for vegetarians. And with tofu, green beans, pak choi, broccoli there is so much that can be done so easily. I now have a grumpy family and we won't be getting Chinese takeaw...

We placed a delivery and was told 1 hour and a half delivery. It had been 1 hour 45 minutes so we phoned and asked where it was and was told it was out for delivery. We live a 15 min drive max and it then reached over 2 hours and phoned once again to be told they couldn’t get hold of the driver but he was out for delivery. We were told we would get a phone call back but never did so we then had to phone again as clearly it was a lie and there was no delivery out. The woman we spoke to was incredibly rude and just spoke over us saying ‘do you want to cancel then?’ Over and over. There is no way they would happily cancel such a big order.
