"Upon arriving, we waited at the counter whilst several members of staff went about their business without even acknowledging that we were standing there… after a few minutes, one of the girls looked our way and proceeded to show us to a table. We ordered our drinks and then waited to order the meal. We’ve been to this restaurants many times over the years so knowing that the portions are large, we ordered 2 12 lagers, a chicken tikka jalfrezi to share, 1 rice, chips, a plain naan and 2 popadoms. I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted such a bland, tasteless curry, even the chicken (supposedly chicken tikka) was bland. Jalfrezi is described on the menu as hot but it had no spice whatsoever, it was creamy and flavourless. It was more like a creamy masala. At no point during the meal did anyone come over to ask if our food was ok, it was like you’ve had what you’re getting, get on with it! My husband doesn’t mind a creamy curry but I don’t so I ended up with a plate of rice and poppadoms. No one bothered to come over to check on us at all, even when we went to the counter to pay, nobody asked how the meal was, they just wanted to be paid the £38.50. We won’t be visiting them again!!"

Best Indian we have been to,we went three times this week with various visitors whilst on hols. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Can’t recommend more!!

Visited twice in one week as our first experience was a real taste experience. The South Indian spices and the high quality ingredients make this a real food experience for Indian cuisine lovers. Highly recommend but strongly suggest booking your visit. As it is very popular expect a reasonable delay.

The food was OK but the ambience wasn't, the place looked tired and in need of refurbishment. What put us off was seeing the waiters eating with their hands in the the kitchen and then coming to serve food without washing their hands, really unhygienic. I was OK after the meal but my partner had diarrhoea. We won't go there again.

I had ‘Fish Cutlet’ to start, and I was presented with a frozen fish cake which seemed cheap but was OK. I had ‘Aleppey Beef’ for main which was exceptionally bland, beef itself wasn’t too bad. My family also complained of bland taste and rubbery meat. Rice and naan breads weren’t bad. Definitely not worth the long wait to get served

On the 1st of June 2024 we went to your restaurant my girlfriend saw the staff standing up and eating food in the kitchen eating food and there were serving the food at the same time as well. Did they wash their hands? No, she didn’t see them wash their hands, this is disgusting. This is against health and safety. If staff want to eat food they should eat it at a table. In their break not while standing up at a table or in the kitchen my girlfriend does not want to recommend this restaurant to anyone. I hope you got something good to say. Please change your policy or you are going to have less customers. Remember it’s a small town.
