"La Biznaga lives up to the reputation. After a morning of hiking up to the Castle, we stopped in here for lunch based on the reviews, and were not disappointed. Antonio welcomed us in heartily and was super engaging with our 4 1 year olds. He took time to recommend dishes and answer any questions. The menu is offered in Spanish, English, French, and German. The gazpacho was light and refreshing while flavorful, the aubergine with cane honey was great (especially for the kids . The real stars were the fried anchovies, so light and crisp (gotta squeeze that lemon on there for some zing! And the grilled fish seafood plate. The single portion of the grilled fish seafood was generous enough to share and the kids loved different parts of it. Our 4 year old ordered the chicken nuggets, but ended up leaving some behind because she ate so much grilled squid and mussels. For dessert, highly recommend the Tarrina Al Whisky. The biscuit base DEFINITELY did not have all the whiskey cooked out, so it added a great dimension to the flavor. The Flan was light and smooth, and of course the 4 year old ordered the bag of ice pops (a commercially available item at other places, but the 4 year old devoured all 5 mini popsicles in the bag ."

"We went to Salobrena as we were staying in La Herradura. Lovely place. Even with two under 12s in tow. Castle really good, but this place stunning. Tapas really terrific, good value, waitress super friendly and helpful, plus accommodating with daughter’s allergies. The view is literally incredible across the valley down to the sea. Best place we’ve been to this holiday by a mile."

"My wife and I had a meal at Botica last night. It was not too busy but still had an atmosphere. The man who served us explained that the tables on the edge of the terazza were reserved. He directed us to another table that was fine. We had the rabo de Toro croquettas and mixed grilled seafood to share. Big mistake having the croquettas, they were delicious however the mixed seafood was enormous. Easy enough for four people , not two. It was all really good and the service was excellent. We had a nice bottle of wine that was not too pricey and a bottle of water for € 60. Muchas gracias Botica. My wife and I returned the next night and were seated by Sergio near a window overlooking the square. We were careful this time to only order one thing. We ordered the paella mixta. Sergio explained it would be 20-30 minutes and as we had wine and some bread we said it was fine When the paella arrived it was huge, fortunately we were both hungry and took our time. Sergio and his mother were very professional and discreetly asked if we were ok at regular intervals. They were both very patient with my Spanish and didn't bother to correct my grammar. I know I must have made some mistakes along the way. Altogether another lovely evening at Botica. "Hemos estado hoy y hay algunas cosas q no me han gustado por ejemplo en cuanto nos sentamos en la mesa nos trajeron el arroz sin tener la bebida ni nada cosa q mientras te llega la bebida el arroz está frío , el arroz de sabor estaba bueno pero tampoco para tirar cohetes , el postre lo ponen con la fruta congelada abajo en las fotos del aprecia perfectamente más q nada porque no te la puedes comer porque se te parte un diente . Ahora si lo mejor del restaurante la atención de los camareros son súper apañados en nuestro caso nos ha tocado 2 chicas q nos atendieron súper súper bien y muy amables ,"
