The food at this restaurant is always amazing and highly recommended. I especially love their chicken biryani and Peshawar naan. The staff is very friendly as well.

This is the best Indian takeaway I have ever had. I have been going for years since living in Taverham, and even though I now live in Hevingham and have to drive further, I will not go anywhere else.

My Indian takeaway of choice even if there are closer ones to where I live! Always tasty and friendly staff. Discount available if you collect yourself. All food comes in recyclable packaging which makes me happy. Happy to give 5 stars without any hesitation.

Wow! This restaurant exceeded my expectations from the appetizers to the main course. The Onion bhaji was full of flavor and crispy on the outside. The chicken jalfrezi with mushroom rice was delicious and satisfying. Thank you to Ali for taking care of us and for the complimentary poppadoms. I will definitely be returning soon!

Having been a takeaway Customer of the family who own the Taj Mahal for over 30 years, I can confidently report that this takeaway produces some of the tastiest, most succulent and luxurious Indian and Bangladeshi dishes in the UK. I've been addicted to Indian cuisine since the mid 1970s and have enjoyed Indian food at restaurants all over the world, so I can speak with at least a degree of objectivity and experience. I can therefore highly recommend the delicious food which is always freshly prepared by the Taj Mahal.

Ordered from here with my family last night. We ordered the meal for for with an extra lamb madras and some more poppadomd. Delivery did take a long time but it was a Saturday night so that’s to be expected. Food was all lovely. Madras was rich with tender lamb and a decent spice. Tikka masala was really tasty and even the added vegetable curry that most places slop up with no care at all was really well cooked and seasoned. Will definitely be ordering from them next time and if it’s as good as that, this will be our new regular.

Firstly, the main thing, the chicken dansak was very tasty. It had a nice little kick but could've been fierier and not spoiled its rich and sweet flavour. On the whole, very nice indeed. The naan was a lovely soft one and a good size, perfect to go with the main. Their rice was colourful which was a nice touch too. Finally their chicken bhuna (my partners dish) was also good. A rich and thick sauce, which was somewhat oily but still tasted very nice. This separation likely occurred in transit. Been very disappointed of late. We used to be real regulars here and always said it was the only Indian that was consistently amazing and never let you down but the last year or so has really gone down hill. Food is often late with no explanation, hit or miss and tonight the chicken tasted like it was still defrosting. We are living in past glory and still keep going back in the hopes they come good and when they do it’s hands down best curry in Norwich but unfortunately those are getting fewer and farther in between.
