"We had an absolutely amazing meal at Marco's! Omg, I will be DREAMING about the aubergine parmigiana forever! I'm honestly gutted we live 2.5 hrs away because this was the best meal I've ever eaten. We came for dinner (2 adults and a child and ordered the veggie calzone, parmigiana and a salad all to share. The portions are HUGE! We left stuffed and so happy as the food was just gorgeous. We sat outside out the back and had the lovely waterfall as our soundtrack. The staff were really friendly, attentive and moved tables about to accommodate us (and to fit the massive plates on! . The food came out quickly and was so hot and fresh. Everything was just divine I honestly can't express how delicious it all was. I am NOT a salad person and I loved the salad as the dressing was so tasty. The calzone was crunchy, cheesy, buttery and garlicky. But the star of the show was the aubergine parm. It came with this deliciously crunchy foccacia bread. The top was cheesy and crispy, the sauce was the absolute best tomato sauce I've ever had and the aubergine and veg inside was the perfect filling. You will not regret visiting!! "Amazing night thank you! We cycled to Hebden Bridge from Mirfield and fancied having dinner there, but we didn’t want to leave our bikes outside (even locked . The restaurant offered to put our bikes in a part of the restaurant not being used and that was just the start of an amazing meal. I can’t believe the owner does all his own cooking. My partner is well looked after on business trips and has eaten in some fine restaurants and he was blown away by the quality of the carpaccio and the lamb courgettes 3 ways, as was i with my tagliatelle gamberoni. Couldn’t fault the meal, the wine (we got the train back : and service. A most romantic evening overall. Thank you so much."

"My partner and I have visited this restaurant twice now - the first time with my parents - and it has been a wonderful discovery! The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. We were pleasantly surprised by the Halloween decorations during our first visit, especially the fake blood writing on the men's bathroom mirror. It was a nice touch! The restaurant is also dog-friendly, and the staff clearly enjoys having dogs around. Just a heads up, the restaurant is a bit off the main road and the road leading to it is narrow, so be cautious when driving there. Despite the location, it is definitely worth a visit!"
