"The Blue Teapot is a quaint little café with a delightful menu. The specials change frequently and they are more than happy to accommodate vegan restrictions (there’s always a selection of vegan meals on the menu too I ordered the from the specials menu the vegan samosa. I was absolutely delighted when it arrived to see that they were actually baked; sure that’s not authentic, but absolutely perfect for me as I’m not a fan of fried foods where I can help it. The flavours were spot on, and the dish was a pleasure both taste and visual wise, but also perfect portions for lunch! The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing, we felt right at home. I’ll definitely go out of my way to visit again when I’m in the area, it was just a really lovely experience. "this place surpassed my expectations. first, it is a beautiful room. dog-friendly also. we ate from the a la carte menu (picture.) I had to start the soft bowl collar and the oktopus as main. I have rarely seen softly peeled crab on a menu in Britain, when I have seen it has been bad, so I have ordered more in the hope than expected. it was great. crispy, sweet and juicy. the accompanying green salad was a great guide. the main octopus court was incredibly tender, according to my opinion, they should not interfere with the king Prawn-Squid, as it distracts from the sheer quality of the cooking taste of the oktopus. we shared a dessert of almond-Marmalade cake with mandelbiscuits eis. I'm not a big dessert fan as I don't have a sweet tooth, but that was good. I would have chosen a cheeseboard of local yorkshire lancashire cheese if that had been an option. I just moved into this one, I'm gonna eat again."

"Really unfortunate our last experience was so poor compared to when we visited in the summer. Visited as a family on a Sunday and was surprised there was seating for us, we were grateful. Lovely atmosphere and nicely decorated. No staff members to be found but sign said to help ourselves to a table. Don’t like the ordering at the bar thing but that’s personal preference; however makes it feel very much like a Wetherspoons. After ordering, we asked where our food was as we were waiting more than 40 minutes. It came a few minutes later. Kids chicken and chips, absolutely fine. My partner’s steak was beautifully cooked to his preference and seasoned well. I ordered a burger which stayed it was “smothered in melted cheese”. Two slices of cold cheese on top, with a burnt to a crisp burger bun underneath. How they thought it was okay to serve this is beyond me. I took it to the bar, got an apology muttered at me. Two minutes later it came back with a fresh bun, but everything else plonked on top, clearly microwaved as was overly hot and the cheese shrivelled up and dry. Undercooked soggy bacon on top, way too salty. One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had (which after having a quick scan through the reviews, I’m not the only one). Ordered desserts, which were very good. Christmas pudding stayed it came with a brandy sauce, my partner asked if it was a creamy sauce. The woman behind the counter had no idea at all. What turned up was custard? Which was unusual. But the actual Christmas pudding was lovely. Think we will try again but hope the mounting negative reviews are listened to. It’s such a good spot, especially in summer so would be a waste if the quality didn’t match."

"Brilliant Italian restaurant. Absolutely loved our meal. Ate here yesterday with my other half and have to say I think I have now found my new favourite restaurant. I had the belly pork for starter spicey king prawn tagliatelle for my main and both were fantastic. He had pate the penne stroganoff and demolished both!! The service from all the staff is fantastic and we even had a comedy moment when the 'lecky ' went off the chef went outside to bring it back on lol! We will deffo be popping back here sometime very soon. 10/10"

"We frequently travel from Littleborough to enjoy a meal here, and we are always pleased with our experience. The staff consistently provide a warm and friendly welcome, regardless of how busy they are, and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is situated in a picturesque location by the canal and is very affordable. There are also plenty of nice pubs nearby where you can grab a few drinks afterwards."
