Eating here is not just a culinary experience, it also shows that solidarity and openness are values that strengthen Thuringia. The dishes, whether traditional chicken tikka masala or fresh naan, were excellently prepared, authentic and served with great attention to detail. A real treat! The service: fast, friendly, with a smile that shows that hospitality is very important here. In times when we as a society are required to stick together and talk to one another, it is good to experience in a restaurant that good service is always a dialogue. And the atmosphere? Inviting, warm, a wonderful mix of Thuringian down to earthness and Indian charm. A good house. We had booked 16 people in the restaurant on the other side of the street and were bitterly disappointed. So we, very spontaneously, called in India House, immediately get 16 seats, were warmly welcomed, the service is there totally class and the food mega tasty.

We were only in Weimar for one day and in the evening the hunger in India led us to the house of India. We do not regret that the staff was absolutely exceptionally friendly, friendly and attentive. The food was top butter chicken and also Papadam were super delicious. On the house there were even mangoschnäpse, which also tasted super. The Yogi tea was also great! If we are back in Weimar, we are happy to be back!
