"When I visited the House of India, I once again realized how important diversity and cultural exchange are in these times. Eating here is not just a culinary experience, it also shows that solidarity and openness are values that strengthen Thuringia. The dishes, whether traditional chicken tikka masala or fresh naan, were excellently prepared, authentic and served with great attention to detail. A real treat! The service: fast, friendly, with a smile that shows that hospitality is very important here. In times when we as a society are required to stick together and talk to one another, it is good to experience in a restaurant that good service is always a dialogue. And the atmosphere? Inviting, warm, a wonderful mix of Thuringian down to earthness and Indian charm. It is precisely this openness that holds us together as a country in stormy times like these that you can feel in every detail here. Especially in view of the current political situation in which we are all facing major challenges whether it is about the integration of immigrants, social cohesion or economic stability this restaurant shows that diversity and quality can go hand in hand. It reminds us that with openness and respect we can combine the best of both worlds to achieve success together."

If you want garlic bread, you have to pay extra for it, just like dips, which I get for free from other Indians!

We've been to this beautiful little restaurant more often. The food there tastes very good. The staff is also very nice and the price is fine. If you like Indian, you can go to eat here very well.

A good house. We had booked 16 people in the restaurant on the other side of the street and were bitterly disappointed. So we, very spontaneously, called in India House, immediately get 16 seats, were warmly welcomed, the service is there totally class and the food mega tasty.

At first glance a classic Indian with a very beautiful ambience. However, if you meet the map, you can enjoy a vegetarian and vegan variety that is offered alongside meat dishes. All fresh and tasty, the service is friendly and fleeting. Very recommended! For larger groups should be reserved, the restaurant is well visited. View menu

We were only in Weimar for one day and in the evening the hunger in India led us to the house of India. We do not regret that the staff was absolutely exceptionally friendly, friendly and attentive. The food was top butter chicken and also Papadam were super delicious. On the house there were even mangoschnäpse, which also tasted super. The Yogi tea was also great! If we are back in Weimar, we are happy to be back!
