"Dishonest Service and Poor Food Quality – Avoid This Restaurant I had a deeply disappointing experience with this restaurant during my recent visit to Munich. I ordered food for pick-up, expecting authentic and fresh Indian cuisine, but was utterly let down. The rotis they gave me were stale and nowhere near fresh. This is unacceptable, especially when catering to people who expect quality and authenticity based on the reviews. I am postings the photos of the rotis. Anyone can easily recognise which is a fresh roti and which is stale. The paneer dish I ordered was excessively spicy, completely overpowering the flavors. It felt like no care or thought had been put into preparing the food. What’s even more frustrating is how misleading the fancy reviews and glossy interiors are. Let me tell you, these do not reflect the reality of the food or service. I am going to share my review with all my colleagues at work and all my friends so that they don’t get fooled by the fancy reviews there are. Waste of money, there are not so fancy Indian restaurants in Munich which serves much better fresh food ."

Lightning clean!! Bright white tablecloth and napkins. As you can see on the internet, very nice rooms and terrace.

Nice restaurant, modern India style. Great service, nice and helpful. And best of all: the food. Indian food at its best. Tasty and visually beautifully served. One of the best Indians in Munich!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Munich. It is the best place to try all Indian food, they gave us the best feeling and test of India, and the end they served us the complimentary shots that was mind blowing. Totally recommended. View menu

Simply great! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the service was quick and warm. The food was a delight – perfectly seasoned and varied, with dishes to suit every taste. The atmosphere was also cozy and inviting. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended, I would love to come back!

Restaurant is really very nice, hospitable, operation very polite, you can really not contradict anything. I just made it very sad, my daughter ordered a meal for me today and said more times, please don't SCHARF, my mother doesn't wear sharp things, she has great problems with stomach. Please don't be angry, you could tell my daughter we don't cook. My husband loves Chilli, Curry sharply without end, but also with him, after first bites, the nostrils were free... I'm just sad. However, I wish this young team a lot of success for the future. Best regards, Veronika

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
