Taverna Corfu - Menu

Second time at Taverna Corfu and the food was as good as the last time with pleasant atmosphere, prompt service and courteous staff .

A very good Greek restaurant next door to the church where Bruckner was the organist for a while. Traditional Greek food and a relaxed evening.

Waren hier gleich 2mal hintereinander essen da es uns so gut gefallen und auch geschmeckt hat. Der Chef sehr freundlich, Küche super lecker, Preise finden wir absolut passend, da die Portionen groß sind...

Been yesterday for dinner at the restaurant. food was mediocre. my son had souvlaki which was pretty bad and dry and he has been throwing up all night. will look into reporting this place to the health authorities

Leider haben wir uns unter Gyros was anderes vorgestellt. Die Portionen waren zwar sehr groß aber irrsinnig trockenes Fleisch. Kaum zu glauben, dass es Schweinefleisch sein sollte. Na ja, vielleicht versuchen wir einmal die Fischplatte.

Wir haben das Lokal zufällig beim Spazieren durch Bad Ischl entdeckt. Von außen ist das Lokal sehr unscheinbar (lasst euch nicht abschrecken!!!), aber innen ist es wirklich schön. Dass Essen ist köstlich und die Bedienung (der Chef persönlich) ist ausgesprochen nett. Und zu alle dem stimmt auch noch der Preis. Ich kann dieses Lokal mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen!

Das Essen ist sehr gut und geschmackvoll, der Gastgarten war sehr nett im griechischen Stil eingerichetet. Die Preise für einfache griechische Gericht sind sehr hoch (z.B. Moussaka). Der Eigentümer ist Grieche, der gleich die Gelegenheit nutzte um sich über die böse EU zu beschweren. Insgesamt hat es uns gut geschmeckt, aber die Preise für das Essen sind aus unserer Sicht zu hoch. Der Service war in Ordnung, es dauerte teils sehr lange bis ein Kellner im Gastgarten anwesend war.

We were looking for a place to have lunch with our kids during our visit in Bad Ischl. Based on reviews, we were looking forward to a tasty Greek meals, which we love. We ordered gyros, bifteki and salmon. Salmon was ok, even though it was obviously not fresh but frozen and as well overcooked. Gyros and bifteki was so incredibly salty (including rice as a sidedish), we barely managed to finish it. Would never spend 50 euros on anything like this. I unfortunately cannot recommend this place at all.

We came as a family for lunch. The salad had a bland yogurt dressing, the Moussaka 's taste was also bland. The Gyros was all right. The waitress brought a bottle of mineral water with something brown under, and when we pointed out that the white tablecloth was now dirty, she just dismissed this 'that does not matter ', and put a paper towel over it. The authorities just had reintroduced obligatory wearing of face masks, and the staff of the restaurant took this very likely. We will not come back!
