"Another issue was that our original server forgot to put through the 2-year-old's meal, causing tears and tantrums while the adults had their meals. The new server quickly rectified the mistake and removed the item from the bill without hesitation. Additionally, all the bowls of chips had to be sent back because they were cold, and the carrots in the vegetable bowl were not just cold, but fridge cold. Despite these issues, we didn't mention the cold carrots as the new server had already apologized extensively for the previous mistakes. Overall, it was not a great experience at Anchor Bleu."

Lovely, dog friendly pub with good food. A decent menu, good range of beers and friendly staff. Found by accident, will be back

A lovely friendly pub. I went with friends and we all had a great meal. Fish and chips were delicious and the apple and pear crumble was to die for.

I just want to give a huge thank you to Jonah and the staff at Anchor Bleu for making our visit so enjoyable and for serving the most incredible fish and chips.

What a lovely pub! Extremely friendly service and brilliant food. We had the bacon and rabbit pie and the fish cakes, all delicious. The curry sauce was incredible. The most delicious chips I’ve had in ages. Can’t wait to come back!

Yummy food!! The setting, the ambience, the food and the staff were all lovely. We opted for the pie with veg and new potatoes and fish and chips. Really really good, We also had pudding, again really good and yummy. The staff were so friendly it just made it a perfect night.

This is a lovely pub in a great location, very friendly, great food and service. My only criticism is that the vegan option has not changed in several years so there is never any surprise or variety. Our latest visit was February and it was the standard sea cakes with salad. Where is the warming winter stews with chunky bread? I’d even welcome a curry or chilli for a change. The treacle tart is amazing though and lovely to have a vegan dessert option, thank you.

Met as a group for a family festive get together, main courses all very enjoyable. Service by the team working very positive friendly and helpful. Nice selection of wines, great views from the first floor of the sea. Avoid the deserts very over priced at £7.50. Service charge also a little shocking for groups at 12.5% for a local pub a bit much. Would have been better to allow guests to leave tips. I would return but not with a group and would also stay away from the desert menu. Main courses are very flavoursome and well created.

The Anchor Bleu in Bosham offers a charming, cosy atmosphere with picturesque views of the water. Despite a full list of bookings, they managed to accommodate us in an upstairs quaint room. The diverse menu featuring daily dishes and a mix of cuisines impressed us. We indulged in macaroni cheese croquettes starter, chicken gyros and a ragu stew with mash for main, ending the meal with a delectable mincemeat and frangipan tart with ice cream and a sticky toffee pudding with cream. Highly recommended, but booking in advance is advisable, as we witnessed many being turned away.

We visited Anchor Bleu twice. On Monday night, they had a main course meal for £10, and we chose Pop-corn Prawns, Chips, and Salad, which was delicious. We struck up a conversation with the couple at the next table and decided to team up with them for the Pub Quiz the following evening. The cost was £7.50, which included a bowl of chicken chowder and entry to the quiz. It was a fantastic evening with fun questions and a great atmosphere. We even came in third place! The staff were hardworking, helpful, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Thank you to the staff for a great experience!
