"My girlfriend and I made a reservation for Sunday lunch at 3 p.m. last Sunday. I have a severe dog allergy, so they seated us in the bar where dogs are not allowed. We both ordered the mixed meat (beef, pork, and chicken) roast dinner and it was amazing and there was plenty of it. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, including parsnips, carrots, roast potatoes, broccoli, and cauliflower with stuffing and crackling. I may have missed some, but it was all so delicious. I had rhubarb crumble with hot custard for dessert, which was also fantastic. My girlfriend had a chocolate dish with whipped cream and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef made sure everything was to our liking and the staff were attentive and very polite. We will definitely be returning. I now understand why they are always busy and why you need to make a reservation if you want to dine there. The best part is that the Bell is practically right on my doorstep, so I don't have to drive miles to get there. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
