"if I had to describe the boyne arms in a word, it would be "absolutely wonderful. the beer was good, eating was top quality and the service was second on none. I recently went there at one night and I would recommend it in my top ten meals (before with miller and or carter in cheshire). I ordered the steak that was cooked to perfection. I stumbled upon this pub by chance yesterday and decided to stop for lunch. I ordered the steak and ale pie with a nice assortment of vegetables, and scampi with chips. The portions were generous, and the quality was excellent, all for just £9.95 each. The atmosphere was comfortable, and our dog was warmly welcomed as well.
