The Bucks Head Inn - Menu

Fabulous food. The baked “battered” oysters with apple black pudding were amazing. I also loved the vanilla panacotta with espresso soaked prunes. One of the finest meals I’ve had, will definitely be back.

Visited Northern Ireland from USA and had heard about Bucks Head Inn from others who frequent the area. Did not disappoint, food is of highest quality with local staples augmented with unique culinary fare. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic 3 courses at The Buck’s Head. Lovely menu; good choice; lovely decor and brilliant background music. Staff friendly and efficient. Guinness a winner too! Really enjoyed everything! The hake was lovely and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. Panna Cotta was superb! Will Definitely...be back. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal!! Usually have high tea but have also walked in and ordered a burger. We had an anniversary dinner which was fantastic! Our golfing friends come over and we insist...they eat here which they love as much as we do. Thank you staff for a great experience

we were in a party of 6, sitting on one of the fabulous round tables (love these tables) beautiful starters, including alison's amazing weizen and brave. the most important were naturally smoked squid, huh, steak. all delicious and so artistically presented. desserts of sticky toffee and cheesecake. were divided. had everything in a super night. thank you team buckshead!

we enjoyed the most beautiful light dinner here in our old favorite the bucks head. it has been eaten here for many years, every time we walk in the mourning and as usual it was not disappointed! to begin the most beautiful brote with...tapenade we had oysters with a parmesan chest and gorgeous sweet potato friries, followed by a delicious apple crumb that served us all in the beautiful walled garden. absolute perfection!

On arrival, our telephone reservation had not been entered in the book the young server didn't know what brands of cider they served and, after we had made our meal choices, we were told that we had been given the wrong menus.! It was a...long way back from that disastrous start but they made it. The food was delicious, each course tastefully presented and the cost for such a high grade meal was surprisingly low. Beautiful meal, perhaps a little more staff training required.

met some friends in bucks head dundrum last night beautiful decor and friendly professional coworkers we have studied our menus about drinks and everything looked good finally decided for sirloin steaks for 3 of us and slow brazed bark for the fourth main courses were excellent...and were served with the selection of fresh veg and lidonaiskartoffeln was not much on anyone good chocolatefondant absolutely for dessert to die was amazingly finished with a cocktail called baby guinness only tasty but away too small definitiw great value for money eating ambiente and serving were error-free will be back xx

the bucks head is always a must for me and wife o at our occasional flushes into the beautiful kingdom of mourne. the morning sun and the warm weather during our last week break was made by the highest standard of hospitality and kitchen in. one of our favorite restaurants. something we expect in the run of the years when visiting belfast. a wide offer and mouthwater menu never disappointed and at just £33.95 for a 3-course health dinner with the additional bonus of a beautiful basket of homemade broth it is excellent worth for money. highlights for us in this time included a delicious melt in the mouth haddock, cheese and saffron teacups, a special pornstars that was presented on the plate...
