"Revisiting the Bull in 2022 is a very disappointing experience compared to what it was pre Pandemic. The Sunday roast portion sizes are a fraction of what they were, the children's portion is virtually the same size at less than half the price. Food arrived cold. Worst of all the bull's iconic giant yorkshire puddings are replaced with something I haven't the words to describe (see photos) , worst excuse for YP I've ever had. £19 for a Sunday roast that leaves you still hungry afterwards is not good value. Dessert was nice. This time a more noticeable difference between the child and adult portion. The ice cream was good quality and the brownie had a good texture although a little too sweet for my taste."

Overall good experience. Great service and tasty food (even if a bit pricey at times). I would definitely recommend the chicken roast and the mushroom toast.

Very helpful staff, thank you. My friend was a little disappointed with his dish , mentioned as much to the waiter and without a word or a quibble the item was removed from the bill. Fair play for such a trouble free resolution. The beer is very well kept, thanks to an excellent cellar man.

dinner not only disappointed me but my entire party. the Bull has a long way to go to charm the hearts and minds of local foodies accustomed to high standards, tastier food and adult portion sizes. i would start with a new menu or a new chef! sorry to say but i give 2 stars purely because 1 star would be too cruel.

I don't often give a Five-Star rating but The Bull came pretty close. We enjoyed a lovely Chilean Sauvignon Blanc; beautifully smooth, low acidity, zero tannins. Feeling peckish went for Broadbean Falafels in a broadbean puree; delicious if a bit dry; and nutty Pyreneen Chevre served with the most amazing apricot chutney. RECOMMENDED for a local treat.

Wow ! What more can I do to elevate this pub (which is essentially a restaurant! . From the moment I walked in I instantly felt a warm sense of community and happiness. Abdi was our severer for the evening and honestly made us feel like the most important family in the world! We had the Christmas dinner which was beyond delicious. 10/10 would recommend the restaurant to anyone I know.

We had a very nice evening. The staff were great, although possibly understaffed by one or two people. Prices are pretty standard for what is quite a posh pub, but even better with the 50% off January offer on mains. I had the steak which was extremely good. I had a 4% bitter called Twin Streams which was really nice. My wife had a lager which was 4.7% stronger than she normally has at 4%, so if you could stock more selection of weaker lagers that would be great

next on the agenda was the conversational traffic, and yes, that was the exact word that it used to describe this interval course, a drawn boar, savoy kohl and butter bohnensuppet and a little smoked by smoked hock and toms house cured guanciale on the side. the suppe was again sturdy and full-bodied, it has the intensity of a Japanese ram suppene base, which is remarkable for the hours it will take to achieve this performance. also the sandwich was tasty. creamy smoked **** with a light anise fragrance, between two small slices roasted caraway brot.

We had a small gathering at The Bull to celebrate my mum's life. It is not the easiest thing to do, having a funeral in between Christmas and New Year. But the staff and atmosphere of this place really stood out. The room was perfect, there is space to sit and eat but also to mingle. You can play your own playlist and have photos on a slideshow on the TV. The food was perfect, the staff incredibly helpful but also respectful of the occasion and not intrusive in any way. We did not want for anything, didn't have to wait for anything. I would warmly recommend it to anybody for a function.

Overall was good. What we found is we came to the table after two mins someone was asking if we want to order sth after 2 mins another staff came and asked again. We were asked three times since we arrived after 10 mins. We understand that it was a Friday night and of course we knew u need the table back by 8.30! This was too much! We were not feeling relaxing at all. Regarding the food. We really liked the Ribs its tasty however, with £25 we expected the ribs was bigger and bigger salad. Burrata was a joke , came plain with two small cubes of burnt bread. Anyway, overall was okay. Food was okay a bit overpriced though. maybe because of pandemic?

"my partner and I stay a week in london and have booked a lot of places to eat during our stay. this is a place we will relive on any future adventure. the menu is full of a series of Italian...Delights and my understanding of what to have was a beautiful dilemma. I had the baked flat mushroom with gorgonzola, honey and rocket to begin while my partner had a garlic pizzabrot. my was simply sensational and she was delicious (and easy enough to feed for net I had an eleanora pizza with prosciutto crudo, caramelized wobble, mascarpone and basilikum. the best handmade pizza I ever had! my partner had the tagliatelle pollo e funghi. tagliatelle with mushroom, pancetta and huh in a creamy white sauce. for a communal dish in many Italian restaurants this was a considerable cut over the rest. Of course we have ensured that there was room for dessert (if in rom and all that). it is always particularly exciting to see the cakes made all the house and there is a nice selection of authentic Italian dresses to choose. my partner went for a cheesecake served with fruit-couli, while I had decided to be adventurous and to start something new in the form of canolo siciliano. sweet ricotta wrapped in a fresh, thin baked baked pastry, served with pistachio ice cream and fresh strawberries. first was the cheesecake devine. there are no words for it, it's just fantastic. my adventurous to the unknown has also paid off as I can say that I have never dessert like the canolo. such a variety of aromen on a plate, supplemented with chocolate sauce and a lemon cure was only pure joy. every last crumb of our meal was sensational, as was the drinks as well as the wonderfully dipped and refreshing hot sprout. now is good eating a thing, good service is another. as gastfreundschaft arbeiter himself (I myself a chef and my partner in front of the house) appreciate and appreciate good service when we see it. the way the two waitresses worked effortlessly together, and with care and care and their insidious ability to press on an upsell without being overlaid was a joy in themselves. the handling with a lot of takeaway orders while they can take care of their guests may be difficult (we know) but they treated everything super and everyone had smile on the faces. overall, this was a fantastic evening in a brilliantly guided facility that is quite simply a must-visit place to dive!"
