"We have enjoyed meals at this restaurant in the past, but this time was especially memorable. I brought my friend who was celebrating her 80th birthday, and we both ordered the specials. The scallops with bacon and samphire served with chips and peas were absolutely delicious. My friend, who is a fantastic cook herself, couldn't stop talking about how tasty the meal was. The staff were also very friendly and kind, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. It was a great outing for both of us."

Arrived on holiday this pub is 2 minute walk....busy but not loud cosy, very friendly staff and delicious food...had seafood linguine and seafood risotto ...delicious

I always have a good experience at this restaurant. The food is great and there is a good selection on the specials board. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is excellent. It's a lovely pub.

I mistimed this, arriving just as they were closing, so couldn't get food. A quick pint, and a chat with the welcoming locals, as I walked through the country lanes of the charming village of Holcombe on my exploration of walks around Teighnmouth.

Lovely village pub atmosphere, staff are brilliant, so helpful can't do enough to make your visit just that bit special. We live in the village can honestly say that we really enjoy the inn atmosphere. We have booked our wedding reception look forward to it so much. Well done to Steve, July all the staff.

This pub is completely dog-friendly! Just sit outside in the fully covered area, you won't get wet from the rain! The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. We were staying nearby and were initially worried because our cottage provider said the pub wasn't dog-friendly. The food was fantastic, we ate here four times during our stay. Thank you Castle Inn!

Fabulous find! A lovely welcoming feel from the minute you walk in to this wonderful traditional pub….and clearly popular amongst locals. My 5 year old son thoroughly enjoyed his cooked ham egg and chips and we had delicious roast beef all of which very reasonable in price. I’m sad I didn’t get the name of our waitress but she was fabulous and a true credit to the pub! Beautiful glass of Merlot too!!! We will definitely be coming back if in Dawlish again. Well done Castle Inn you are fantastic!!!!!!
