"This charming, family-run hotel has a classic feel and is tucked away from the usual tourist paths. It has built a loyal customer base and boasts a fantastic reputation for dining, which I wholeheartedly agree with. My wife and I spent three nights here, and I struggled to find any faults in our experience or our dinners. The cuisine is traditional British, with flavors that were truly delightful. After three courses each night, we were pleasantly full. While the prices are not the cheapest, they are very reasonable considering the exceptionally high quality of the meals. The maitre d', Craig, provided impeccable service with great attention to detail. Our deluxe room was beautifully furnished and spacious, complete with both a bathtub and a separate shower. There are lovely coastal walks nearby, and a charming village close by features a bathing beach and a pub along the way. This is a place not to be missed. For us, it was perfect. Food was exceptional, however our room was cramped and accessable via a lot of stairs. The location was not great good views but walks very steep. I should have enjoyed it more but something not quite right with the atmosphere Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 2

Absolutely wonderful! I loved the four-poster bed, the cozy sofas, and the stunning views from both windows. The bathroom was fantastic, featuring a bath and a shower. Additionally, there was a coffee machine and a kettle, which added to the convenience. Hotel highlights include its luxurious atmosphere, breathtaking views, and a romantic ambiance. View menu

Fantastic evening meal. Location is wonderful, great views well maintained mature gardens. We only went for a meal so didn't get to see any bedrooms but all the communal spaces where gorgeous. Staff where fantastic very attentive but not overly. Food was excellent well cooked and good variety. I would highly recommend this gem and we will be visiting again. We had afternoon tea here as part of a gift experience. Our waiter was fantastic, very attentive polite, absolutely no snobbery from using a voucher. The cream tea itself was lovely! We went with our two young children but I 'd recommend you not go with them if possible Despite my boys being very well behaved, we got quite a few dirty looks from other customers and it didn 't seem like a particularly 'child friendly ' place. "We use this place to wow our clients. From large corperate to small business owners, each (wish I could swear to emphasise here) love this place. This IS the best Tapas, if not, best restaurant locally. A fine dining menu with a friendly, relaxed, yet special feel. They nail a multitude of cuisines, with each dish being the best variation of it i've tasted. Now i'm only in my (late) 20's, but our clients vary and all of which that have come here agree and never want to leave. Each time they come to visit us, we don't firstly look at agenda's, we look to see if we can get a seat here. The chefs are excellent, but you don't always come back just because the food is great, which is why Sara and her team are the best at what they do. Sara makes everyone feel special and really knows cares about her stuff. She deals with each situation perfectly and even when i've had to sit and cringe at situations, she spins it expertly, avoids any awkwardness and ends up making even the worst jokes seemingly brilliant. You have the likes of the elephant/ other boujee' fine dining restaurants which when we have a client used to be first the options we'd think of, but now it's nothing other than here. The others have a pretensious aura and make lovely meals in a stale atmosphere, but not here as you can enjoy the occasion and company just as much as the amazing food. My one and only critism is that it's now impossible to find another place to take our clients, which is why I returned with the same client on Thursday and they couldn't be happier. I could write a lot more, but won't be a bore, so i'll end by saying thank you for keeping going. I first came to you after you recently opened, with my father and his spanish friend (a typical spanish bloke... a big headed chef, which your food is the first he did not critique). You were seemingly struggling and it even felt like you were close to giving up. We're all glad you didn't. Thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
