"Really enjoyed popping in here for a few light meals on our cycles. We went for the fish and chips today and the portions were frankly enormous. We half struggled to cycle home. The fresh tarter sauce was great. I had white bait on a previous occasion and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back for that. Excellent beer too. They clearly are fastidious with their pumps and serving. All in all, not so cheep but the quality is worth it. Great service too. Recommended."

I had a wonderful dining experience at this local pub with fantastic service and delicious food. The herring in vinegar was especially outstanding and deserves special recognition.

Absolutely superb pub with excellent food. The steak and mushroom pie was incredible, and good value. I think my partner had eyes too big for his stomach but his tapas selection looked great too.
