"Me and my partner are regulars at this restaurant but never returning again after seeing mice run across the restaurant floor under another table!!! When reported to staff they were not shocked at all obviously an ongoing issue for them! The staff then asked if we wanted to move table if I was “scared” in which I said I didn’t want to eat here anymore. Another couple also seen this happen and left also. I asked the staff upon leaving if they should be open with rodents running around the restaurant with customers eating and they told me “it’s ok” People were still being seated when we were leaving"

Big portions and delicious food. The only con I can point is on the menu, it would be helpful to have the VG and V symbols in the menu.

Lovely food, it was very busy so we had a bit of a wait for service. It was well worth it though as the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Been coming to the Clove for years, but recently they've had a do out and the food has improved massively. Cannot recommend this place enough, top quality food in a relaxed setting

As a BS3 local, I absolutely love this place. The food and portion sizes are great. I always order the Clove Special and would highly recommend it. I’ve eaten in and got takeaway- both are lovely.

Christmas is next month but looks like Buddy the Elf was in town cooking up the dishes on 11/11/2023. I had Butter Chicken and it was the worst I’ve ever tasted, no flavour, no spice and overly sweet like it’s been drenched in Maple syrup. If you want a decent curry I would avoid but if you have a sweet tooth maybe it’s the place for you.

Unfortunately I have to say, be careful when booking over the Christmas period. We booked online where it allowed us to have a table booked. On arrival told it couldn’t happen because they had been booked out for a while. A colleague tried to say they had emailed back however nothing appeared in mail or junk box. Christmas is a busy period but websites/bookings need to be updated. We were not the only people who had this happen. Ended up going to Coronation Curry House where we had the best time and Indian in a while. Just be careful to not have your time wasted.
