"I’ve frequented The Coffee Traveller a few times: out of necessity if I am honest, because there aren’t many other places to grab a quick coffee near to my house. The coffee is actually fabulous which always lures me back, although, I have to say, I’ve always felt that the atmosphere tends towards the cold and unpleasant end of the spectrum. But, no matter, I rush in and grab a coffee to go and rush back out again. This week, when I popped in, it felt like a completely different place, so much so that I wonder if the management has changed. The girls who greeted me were so pleasant and welcoming, inviting me to sit down and enjoy my coffee with a pastry just to mix things up. I actually stayed for a while, rather than dash off as I usually do, and returned with my laptop later to catch up on some work. I am hoping this change is permanent, as it felt like the icy cafe of the past has become a place I can really enjoy spending time."

Horrible soya cappuccino. Firstly they charge 50p extra for soya (on a 2.80£ drink) as if you’re punished for having an allergy. But disappointingly, it was probably the worst soya cappuccino I drank in my life. It went straight in the bin! Never again.

Visited for breakfast before a day at Kew Gardens. This is a lovely cafe in a great location with friendly staff, great coffee and really delicious food (the pancakes with bacon is a must try). Five weeks in to a trip in the UK and it’s still the best coffee of the trip!

What a gem. Was attracted here by pictures of the coffee and it did not disappoint! What a gem of a place. Lovely inside and outside space there are a huge number of tables. Food was good although prices were high £2.99 to add a single poached egg?? . Will definitely be back… but maybe just for that great coffee!

This is a gem of a place. Owner Aziza is a former journalist who fell in love with the premises and location, and set about creating a delightful spot for coffee or lunch. Aziza herself is usually here taking care to give customers a friendly welcome, a delicious pastry or tasty lunch. The garden at the back is an oasis. I’ll definitely be back.

Soup of the Day was a moroccan dish with chicken, fava beans, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by cheese toast on the side. This was a delicious, light lunch, perfect for warding off the chilly wind by the Thames at Chiswick. As ever, Tajbir was warm and friendly towards her sometimes irritating customers! I love this idiosyncratic café, slightly off the main drag. It's an oasis of calm in West London. Thank you Tajbir!

I only popped in today for 2 large coffees and a tea, and I like my tea very strong so asked very politely if I could put the milk in myself to which I was told No! The Lady proceeded to put the milk in and then said 'How 's that ' to which I replied to much milk! She then made another cup and I asked her to put the milk in a separate cup which she did and when I got to work opened the lid it was half full £3.00 a cup......can 't add your own milk and only get half a cup Wont be going back

I have frequented The Coffee Traveller for a few years and it is without doubt the best cafe for miles. The coffee is perfect and food excellent. Super pastries, cakes and paninis, all freshly made. Check out the specials, the Shakshouka being absolutely fabulous. The team who work there are really friendly, lead by Aziza who is the creator and inspiration behind many of the dishes available. You can enjoy your food and drink sat outside at the front chatting or watching the world go by, inside or in the secluded rear courtyard. Honestly, i cannot praise The Coffee Traveller enough and totally recommend it to you.

Lovely place and lovely people but I’m sorry to say that the coffee standard has decreased significantly since the change in management a few years ago. It used to be a destination coffee shop where people would travel to the area especially for the coffee. The love for coffee and it’s craft was evident. Now it just seems like it’s a business with no real care and love for making coffee. Just an average cafe now. It’s now become a place I don’t bother visiting unless I’m in the area and have no other choice. One thing I know for sure is I’m not unique or special, I guarantee if I feel this way others will too. I don’t like writing negative reviews (this might be my first) but I’m just so dis...
