"We had a lovely dinner at Pomona 's with the Vegetarian Tasting menu (as shame that we had to ask for it rather than having it on the table at the beginning, along with the other drinks and food menus . Great tasting experience, and for once, vegetarian dishes were all amazing, not an avalanche of cheese and fried stuffs as you can sometimes find in other places. That was proper seasonal vegetables cooked in various and innovative ways. Thanks for the experience! Desserts were amazing as well! And the fake brut Champagne from London was pretty nice as well! We 'll be back :"

I found the place where it smells and eating was very low. even the picked eggs were cooked properly.

I found the restaurant to have a strong egg smell and the food was of very poor quality. Even the poached eggs were overcooked. View menu

Much better than expected food and ambience but the service was very hit-or-miss to say the least. At this level of price, £100pp, we'd expect properly trained staff.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! The food not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing as well. The staff were incredibly friendly. We were fortunate to dine at a quieter time, allowing us to have conversations without having to raise our voices or speak in hushed tones. Overall, we couldn't find any faults and will definitely be returning!

absolutely great! the food tasted as good as it looked what was a pretty performance when it was beautiful. the personal could not have been more friendly. Maybe we were lucky when we dined somewhat later than usual, but we could just chat without calling to be understood or whispering for a modicum of the private sphere. so overall it could not be mistaken and will definitely be back! the second time I had eaten there and it was again error-free. the employees are so attentive and incredibly welcoming without being too much. we had the Sunday roast. it is hard to let a sunday roast out, but that did. tatties were amazing. gravy, red cabbage, the whole veg delicious. and the lamb. so incredible taste and melt in tour mouth. everything that was rounded off with a design aspalls. I had a great Sunday.

I recently dined at this restaurant for the second time and once again, the experience was flawless. The staff are incredibly attentive and welcoming without being overly intrusive. We ordered the Sunday roast, and I must say, it was outstanding. The potatoes were superb, the gravy and red cabbage were delightful, and all the vegetables were delicious. The lamb had an incredible flavor and simply melted in my mouth. To top it all off, I enjoyed a draft Aspalls cider. It was truly a great Sunday meal. I will definitely be returning.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
