"The place had a relaxed atmosphere. But everything was way overpriced if you ask me. I chose the started with the beef (around £11). I thought it was pricey, and hadn't even realised the price when ordering. However, it was more than my main meal portion wise! For the main I had the pasta option. Although more delicious than the starter it was around £14 for a very small portion. For the dessert I had the Mousse with peanut butter option as it sounded really good. Again way overpriced for it's size. Even their small coke bottle's are around £4 each! I admit the taste was fine, but I guess the portions should be larger for that price. The service was friendly though."

This place is recently renewed and now it is no longer a traditional pub. Well there is a bar area but I did not became a fan of it. If you are looking for good food then you will get many options because the menu is redone and offers Oysters and Steaks. The seafood was really good here.

a good place for an evening with friends. the service was extra attentive (also a bit too attentive) and eating well. I had mackerel pate and a squirting burger. the pate was amazing, but came with not enough roasted brot, the burger was quite unusual, but good. visit them when they are in the opposite.

This place offers a decent experience in terms of surroundings and ambience but the food was below average combined with an terrible service which really let us down. On top of it the food was pretty expensive for what it was worth and this was all the more disappointing. Going by this bad experience I would never go back there.

I tried this place some days ago and was a little disappointed with the food. The ambience was great with a beautiful decor and the place is planned quite intelligently. Even though there were plenty options on the menu but none of them were quite interesting as most of them were quite ordinary. The food was substandard and thus, I would not be quite interested to visit this place again. View menu

I happened to try this place with one of my friends and had an awesome experience here. The ambience is lovely and the decor is beautiful which gives us an idea that the place would be a little pricey but at the end it was worth it as the food was excellent. I specifically loved my polenta dish. The main positive point for this place is it's brilliant service. The staff is very warm, friendly and attentive which makes the experience all the more special.

I found the experience to be a bit disappointing. I ordered the olives for starters and they were quite watery and bland. The mains I had were delicious though, the mushroom pasta, but the portion was so small that I felt it didn't warrant the £14 price. The same goes for desert; I ordered the mousse with peanut butter and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't worth £6 for such a small size. The service was good though, as our waitress frequently checked on us and assisted us with any enquires we had. However, we did have to wait a while between courses for our food.

a place where I went for a hamburger with hopes. the experience was completely underwhelming. on the first bite, the first thing I noticed was that the taste is not there! second bite, that tastes even worse than quorn! we are talking about a 17 pfund burger, not just a cheap “sandwich”. after a few pieces it was sincere. the patty developed a mistrustful palate without any defining properties in its taste. it was the first time I had something like that in a burger. “The silent was deaf.” the toppings were not exactly stellar, and that is where sometimes other burgers could be saved by completely terrible. I don't understand. that's almost my local, so I'd love it, but unfortunately I just don't understand. the first thing a restaurant needs to get right is that beverage service to us our drinks and get them quickly. we waited 20 minutes to serve a drink and another 15 minutes. bizarre for a restaurant that tries to earn money. they would think that a porterhouse and oyster bar would actually serve porthouse, but despite a go pig store before location, they were not serving steak. the food was average, the service was terrible and I give this restaurant another 2 months before it falls on the sewn and turns to a less fancy gastropub.

my friend and I came to dinner on a Monday night. I would have called before the hand to make sure we could get it and they offered me one that was great. in the evening the service was friendly and they let us just sit between the curses and chat and when we were finished, what was nice when we were there for a catcher. at the beginning we had both the calamari I enjoy, but it was too salty for my preference. for the head my friend had the lasagne and I had the surf and shave. it was a little chaotic, but absolutely delicious. then we decided to be lonely and both went to dessert. I had the reispudding and my friend had the cream robe. both were really...read more

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
